Horrid! I first went to this dealership to get my 2013 Jeep fixed. The radio had no sound, but the speakers worked because Pandora would play, also, the heat I first went to this dealership to get my 2013 Jeep fixed. The radio had no sound, but the speakers worked because Pandora would play, also, the heater had stopped working on the drivers side. The service department was so horrible, when they told me what they were trying even I knew that wasn't going to do anything and I'm not a mechanic. You'd think dealership mechanics would know about their own vehicles. I don't know if they ever got it fixed, I ended up trading it in for a 2013 Dodge Ram. Well, I bought an extended warranty with the truck. After a few months the digital display in the cluster went out and my ac was acting up. I called the service department to make an appt and the lady told me that I would have to pay 2 different diagnostics since it was 2 different problems. I asked if my ac was under warranty and she told me that they would have to tear everything apart to see what the problem was before they would know. I asked, "Why would you tear everything apart first?" Again, I'm not a mechanic, but I do know for ac work, first you check that the ac really isn't working, then you check for leaks, and then you check that the compressor is getting power. What a load of BULL from that service department!! I ended up taking my truck to the Dodge dealership in Orangeburg instead, they are amazing there and I will never go back to Butler again!! I will say that the salesman and the finance guy were wonderful! But the service department killed it for me at this dealership! More

sales great/service greedy The sales staff was great in getting us the car we wanted. They had to search and transfer to get the right one but they found it and have followed up The sales staff was great in getting us the car we wanted. They had to search and transfer to get the right one but they found it and have followed up with tutorials on how to use the new technology. The service department charged $80.00 for an oil change when we added this to a tire replacement. The tire was not covered under road hazard even though the vehicle was only three months old. The total bill for one tire and oil change $375.00. I have been using this car lot for over forty years through many ownerships and have always had good reliable car purchases but the current service department staff are just in it for the money. More

Great sales department, the worst service department. Great experience the entire time from start with the used sales department, if I could I'd give them 5 stars. The vehicle I decided on had some pretty Great experience the entire time from start with the used sales department, if I could I'd give them 5 stars. The vehicle I decided on had some pretty bad movement in the steering wheel when I got up to 40mph+ during the test drive, so I said get that fixed and I'll buy it, so they put it on the "we owe" paper work. Now I'm sitting in the waiting room for over 3 hours later on a Monday because they closed early on Saturday when it should have been done. Doubt I'll recommend this place to anyone now. Edit: Just left the services department, after watching the mechanic that was working on my car floor it out of the lot in my car that I just bought two days ago. Jerry Morgan is his name, in case anyone wants to make sure not to get him. It's unprofessional and ridiculous, you put faith in an establishment to provide a service for you and they completely fail. Not to mention I have to come back on Friday because they couldn't even fix my issue. Starting to wish I never even came here to buy a car. There should be a check in process when a dealer buys a used car at auction, this should never have even been an issue. More

Best service I have had at this dealership ! I came in to get a recall issue fixed . I also opted to get my oil changed and tires rotated at the same time. My oil change was free because my vehicle is still under warranty.I was given a free car wash and check of my underhood fluids. I asked for new windshield wipers and was told I did not need them. I was impressed with the courtesy and honesty of the service representative by the name of Debbie. I choose the Butler C,D,J dealership because I am a senior citizen and wanted a dealership close to home. Prior to the 2016 Jeep Patriot that I currently drive and that I got a fantastic deal on. I owned a BMW and traveled to Charleston,SC for service. Believe me Butler C,D,J has better service than I got in Charleston at a luxury dealership. I will be glad when the new dealership opens because the current lobby is uncomfortable.The TV blasts at the same time a radio plays very loud music. The worst part about the lobby is there is a young man that works cleaning up who is very rude. He talks and cusses under his breathe. I did not wait in the lobby this time. Because of my previously mentioned issues I had a family member pick me up and bring me back later when my Jeep was ready. I hope the new lobby will be better. Even with those complaints I would still give the dealership five stars! More
