The new ownership no longer accepts Mopar MVP coupons. I received a coupon from the dealer for a $69.95 full synthetic oil change. My service advisor said the cost was $100 for full synthetic but he would I received a coupon from the dealer for a $69.95 full synthetic oil change. My service advisor said the cost was $100 for full synthetic but he would adjust the price to honor the coupon. The problems started when it was time to pay and the final cost was $89. After a little back and forth the price was adjusted to $79 with taxes and shop fees. I was told by my advisor that he had 20 years experience in the automotive field, but it didn't show with his math skills. Later that day I called to speak to the service manager to let him know about my experience. He told me the advisor was new and probably should have reached out for help. So then we spoke about the tire promotion they are running - buy 3 tires, get the 4th complimentary. In this case I was told complimentary was in the form of a maximum $150 credit for the 4th tire which is not the definition of complimentary. Well, I'm in need of tires but it seems like the dealer is no longer an option because of the conflicting response to complimentary. I am not impressed with the new ownership, nor the responses so I guess I'll be sourcing tires and a wheel alignment elsewhere. More
