Being a new resident to Charlottesville I and without any car buying experience in this area I went into this dealership a complete stranger. After we discussed the price details and they inspected my trade, Jim Childress came into the room and immediately was on the phone with the West Va. dealer to trade for the truck I wanted. They did what was necessary to make me happy with the deal and when we agreed on then details a deal was made. Next I was introduced to Scott Draper, the finance manager, and he was totally professional and went out of his way to complete the paperwork. I was treated with the utmost courtesy and respect at all times throughout the entire process. Then the unthinkable happened, while have a rhino liner installed off sight, the company damaged the rear bumper and fender. I received a call telling me the delivery would be delayed until they could install and new bumper and repair the damaged fender. I went to see the damage and it was minor, but non the less was an event I could have done without. Mr. Mitchell the service manager assured me it would be repaired in a few days and would be as good as new. True to his word, 4 days later the truck was delivered as good as new and went I went to take delivery it was better than new. Here is where I was truly impressed with the service given to me, Simona took the time necessary to step by step walk me through all the functions and settings on the dash, the radio, and the On Star, all all the electronics. I purchased several new vehicles over the years and never did I have a salesperson spend the time with me to explain the electronics the way Simona did. I can totally impressed with my experience at Colonial and will be a repeat customer. More

I was in the market for a new vehicle, however undecided on a car that I truly wanted. I was eyeing the 2008 Chevy Tahoe that was on the lot. I received an email on the morning of February 20, 2013 stating on a car that I truly wanted. I was eyeing the 2008 Chevy Tahoe that was on the lot. I viewed the website and had an eye for the 2008 BMW 528XI. I never imagined driving a BMW, but it was in my price range, so I contacted to Tim to determine if the car was sold and if could you determine if it fits a person standing at 6'7. Tim was great with the explaining the detail of the vehicle and assuring that my interest in the car would be satisfied. I live in Richmond, so I had to be assured that driving an hour outside of the city would be worth my trouble. I drove to the dealership, met with Tim, we took a nice drive around the area with the car and I fell in love with it. Also, Tim is from Maryland which made it a better sell because the transition from Maryland to Virginia is not easy, but being able to share something similar was worth it. Tim and Van Johnson made my experience at Colonial the best I've had, ever! I will definitely send people to Charlottesville for a vehicle. More

We were in the market for a used vehicle and had been searching for a while. I came across a used Yukon on the internet that Colonial had. In a matter of minutes, Tim called me back with a Tahoe on the lot that fit our needs. Tim rearranged his schedule to accommodate us since we were coming from out of town. Tim also took the time to become familiar with all of the options on the vehicle and was able to answer all of our questions. Scott Draper was a pleasure to work with in financing. We had already been approved with our own credit union, but Scott was able to work out a deal that lowered out interest rate with someone else. All in all, the experience with Colonial was awesome.
