So basically I went in for an estimate , paid $160 for it only to be told that it's going to cost me $650 to find out what they/I already know and then renege on the deal. More
Service substandard I had a 10 a.m. appointment because my car steered to the right and had a slight vibration in the front after Cadillac of Norwood had done a front end I had a 10 a.m. appointment because my car steered to the right and had a slight vibration in the front after Cadillac of Norwood had done a front end alignment as well as balance and rotated 4 tires. Paul signed me in and a mechanic was told of the issues in my presence, he stated he was going to take it out for a test ride. It was about 10 a.m. I went to the waiting room. At approximately 1:15 Paul came in the the waiting room to tell me a mechanic was checking the balance before checking the alignment. At 2:20 Paul came back and told me the work was completed. The mechanic had rotated the tires front to back. The alignment was within spec so nothing was done. If I still had an issue I needed to buy tires. For this I was tied up for more than 4 1/2 hours to perform approximately 60 minutes of work with no definitive fix. Totally unacceptable customer service from a dealership known for long wait service. This was not my first service here but definetly it was the worst of any garage I have ever used. I am now scheduling my car at Sullivan Tire to have an alignment and tire balancing as I didn't have any issues before Cadillac performed the work. I scheduled the original alignment and balancing with them because it was due according to the calendar and mileage only not for any issue. I am very angry and frustrated with huge amount of my time they wasted. More

Buyer/Consumer Beware BUYER/CONSUMER BEWARE I have had the MA Inspection performed on my auto several times in the past 10 yrs at this dealership. I am very familiar with BUYER/CONSUMER BEWARE I have had the MA Inspection performed on my auto several times in the past 10 yrs at this dealership. I am very familiar with the mechanics of autos in and out. Most recently, I spoke to Paul Treseler (Service Consultant) about service to my auto that wasn't needed and the cost. I was told that the tech said so, and there was no record of previous service(s) in the system. When I returned days later after getting repairs done elsewhere, I was greeted with attitude and told another service station did not properly service my auto. The last repair needed to be done, was assigned to this dealership. Prior to it being done, I was told it would take a minimum of 2 hrs @ $150.00 an hr to diagnose the issue(s). My auto sat in my view for 40 mins at the end of it being diagnosed, before I was spoken with. I was then told that a part (no-refundable) part needed to be ordered that day and a suggestion was made that the auto stay at the dealership until part was received. I declined leaving the auto, due to it was the weekend and it was going to cost yet another $150.00, just to put the part in and I had several days before re-inspection expired. When asked about the part, then came a lot of mumble fast talk, but the price of the part was clear. I felt compelled to order part and see repair to the end seeing as it was costing me $300.00, taking or leaving auto. An appointment was made next business day (service dept.). When I returned for the part to be installed, I arrived 10 mins early, auto was not moved from time of appointment for 15 mins. So many cars in service intake area, they couldn't be moved. I walked in the customer waiting area and found it full of mature/elderly adults asking/complaining about the cost of service. And feeling compelled to pay such as I. I waited the release of my auto for an 1 1/2, 10 mins, I saw it unattended. When I questioned why it still had a rejection sticker, I was told, I had to take it back to where I got it inspected. I had to remind Paul Treseler (Service Consultant) I remined him of the service(s) being performed today and the paperwork he insisted I sign before service was performed sitting in front of him stated such. Another 30 mins for re-inspection to be done, that had already been done that prior Friday. Little over 2 hrs to install a part that I now know it should have taken 15-20, scrap off old sticker, replace with valid sticker, done. If you have an mature/elderly loved one, or know someone that you can offer assistance to, that is seeking service from this dealership, accompany them so they have a full understanding of what they are paying for and why. Awful service department. I spoke to the manager Peter and he told me there was nothing they could do because it was out of warranty even though it was documented that I brought the car in while warranteed two prior times. I paid and left very unhappy. Recently I bought my 17 year old son a cadilac cts for his birthday because we love american cars more specifically the cadilac brand. The same exact thing happens last week. I brought his car in for a faulty tire sensor that would go on and off and they told me they couldn't replace I told them the car has 49800 miles please replace the tire sensors I don't want the same thing to happen as what occurred with my wifes I was basically shown the door and nothing was done. Now the car is out of warranty and the sensor is completely broken. It's sad that I spent a good amount of money and received service that is unbefiting a prestigious car company as cadilac. Sal N. Peter you know who I am and I'm really disappointed. More
Lack of excellence Cadillac of Norwood provides substandard, mediocre service in every area of their business (we've dealt with their service department quite a bit, but Cadillac of Norwood provides substandard, mediocre service in every area of their business (we've dealt with their service department quite a bit, but also with their sales department). They do not have real loaners. Loaners are provided as rentals via Enterprise, with all the inconveniences linked to a rental car (filled gas tanks, strict return times). Their service department constantly tries to sell unnecessary and superfluous services. As a fifteen-year Cadillac owner, this is my advice: stay away from this dealer. More

It was a great experience last time, so I expected the same this time. I was impressed that salesman frank melo remembered my name from years ago. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. Lease the same car, or try another model. Order a new one, or find one off the lot. We had many conversations. He was so patient with me. Of course it all comes down to money, so I compared prices at other dealerships. They all have the same bottom line, so I thought why do I want to buy at Norwood. Why do I feel comfortable there? It's the service department. Don't misunderstand the sales people are great. But after buying the car, the people that are going to help you are in the service department. My appointments were easy to make. They call to remind you of your appointment. They get you in and out in the time they tell you, or they offer a loaner if they can't. The waiting area is large and comfortable, not to mention coffe and bagels. So think the whole deal through. I did and I know Cadillac Norwood is the place to go. More
Rude, arrogant and condescending If you want to spend $70k on a vehicle and get horrible service this is your place. No loaner cars, rude service manager and one missed expectation a If you want to spend $70k on a vehicle and get horrible service this is your place. No loaner cars, rude service manager and one missed expectation after another. Interesting to get a call asking for me to provide a review and score them high on everything, then I can't get call back when I have questions on my service. Interesting that the service manager said I shouldn't spend the money on the fuel injection cleaning on a lease, after my appointment and his employee told me it was part of the $15k service when I only went in for an oil change.
