I’ve been a loyal Cadillac service customer at your dealership for many years, and Paul has generally been good over that time. But this recent experience was a complete failure. After repairing the power steering pump, the dealership returned my car without completing the required inspection sticker. Worse, as soon as I drove off, the engine started making a loud ticking noise—like a clock. I immediately brought the car back. They kept it for over a month and finally told me they didn’t want to fix it, claiming it was too hard to source parts. Ironically, I was able to locate the necessary parts myself from a supplier in North Carolina for the last several repairs and even provided them with the contact information. Still, they insisted that if the car needed an engine, it could cost up to $20,000—despite never actually performing a proper diagnostic. That’s completely unacceptable. These 32-valve Northstar engines were installed in millions of Eldorados and xxx models—they’re not rare or hard to find. Cadillac refusing to service its own vehicles is disappointing and reflects poorly on the brand. I came to pick the car up on Saturday, 7/19/2025, and the battery was dead. I was told they couldn’t retrieve the car because the techs were getting ready to leave. I finally got it today and immediately brought it to a local repair shop. The people who take care of me are, great, but 2 1/2 hours for a oil change and tire rotation, is nuts. I have told you this before, but each time I go it' s a long wait.
