My salesperson Rafael called me after I submitted this review and I sent a private email to the General Manager. I was basically told that it is what it is and the $699 was taken off the vehicle price and added to the Kahu plan. I was also told that I would receive a copy of the sales worksheet which I have not received. The problem is that these figures were not explained during the purchase which is very misleading. I have requested for the money to be refunded to my credit card or a compromised amount. At this point, it is all about principal and mis-leading business practices. It seems like the dealership needs the $699 more than I do and is ok losing a new customer over it. The entire deal was 50k and for the life of me I can't understand this business practice. Hopefully the next customer will completely understand the games the you play with numbers. I would think complete transparency during the sales process would help customers understand the process better than trying to explain after the fact. My guess is that I'm not the first customer that has had an issue with this and I probably won't be the last. Thank you for your response and myself, family, friends and employee's will be warned not to do business with your dealership. $699 is an expensive lesson to learn from but it probably saved us money in the long run.
