I advised the service manager that I was waiting on site for the service and I requested an ETA. He said he would follow up after my oil change to give me a time frame. I found him 2 hours later after see for the service and I requested an ETA. He said he would follow up after my oil change to give me a time frame. I found him 2 hours later after seeing my vehicle still parked in the lot, just a few seconds before. He ran to the garage and came back to tell me the service team only needed another 30 minutes. I immediately walked back to the parking lot to see the service team just arriving to my vehicle. I waited an additional 2 hours after this for them to tell me all of the necessary parts are on back order, and I would need to reschedule for a different day after the parts arrived. I understand the back ordered parts, but I do not like the service manager lying to my face instead of just saying that he was busy and forgot to check up on my vehicle. He also tried to tell me that my radio could not be fixed, and the issue was my cell phone. When he saw that I was researching the issue myself he said he would order a new radio and give that a try. He then continued to lie and tell me it would only be another 30 minutes. It ended up being another 1 1/2 hours. I was at the dealership for a total of 4 hours to get my oil changed and serviced. The techs had my vehicle for 1 hour to get the oil changed and about 30 minutes to diagnose the other issues. I can't imagine how long it will take to complete the repairs, but I will never wait at the dealership again. I also had fingerprints all over my radio that were not wiped off. I was very disappointed in my first service visit, especially after a such a great experience with the sales staff. Honesty is always the best policy! More
