I started to explain the noise and before even starting the car to demonstrate the noise to him, he knew exactly what the issue was and actually verbally replicated the noise I was trying to explain. He obviously is "in tune" with the VW cars as he immediately diagnosed the problem. I also appreciated that he was honest about the length of time the car would need to stay in the shop rather than trying to make it sound like it would be quicker than it was. Thank you! I worked with Curtis in Sales who was so patient with me and kept my anxiety to a minimum. Nick personally introduced himself and was willing to do what he could to get me the vehicle I wanted and was in my budget. There was never any pressure to sign immediately and even had pricing for me from the previous day that they would honor unlike some others that I had talked to. I love my new vehicle and excited to be a part of the VW family! More

While I was very confidant in my purchase, I wanted to make sure the car was as I expected. I brought the car into Capistrano VW for a n oil change and multi point inspection. The car was fine , as expected. But, the service and information on how to take car of my car was just excellent, The service adviser's took the time to discuss in detail the condition of my car, and what to expect going forward to keep it in great condition . I am impressed with the care, depth of knowledge and willingness to help. I will only go to VW of Capistrano for my service needs going forward . Also, when time to purchase a new vehicle, I will have VW of Capistrano first on my list . VW's are just outstanding cars. I want another one!!! More

In a word "AWESOME!" Today was my first visit to Capistrano VW. I just moved to the area, having relocated from the SFV. Despite having had a complete maintenance of the Today was my first visit to Capistrano VW. I just moved to the area, having relocated from the SFV. Despite having had a complete maintenance of the car and a clean bill of health, my engine light went on. So I chose Capistrano VW, as it was the closest to the house. I was impressed with the exterior of the property - modern, attractive, well maintained, and clean. As soon as I walked in the door of the Service Department, I was warmly greeted and helped immediately. The interior of the building was equal to the exterior - aesthetically pleasing, clean, and inviting, and I couldn't help but notice and appreciate the classic rock music playing in the background. Jeff listened to my concerns and offered to take a look and give a listen. He gave me his initial thoughts, and then offered to take a more thorough look - without charge! - to find out what was really going on. I didn't have an appointment, but he made room for me, and I was happy to wait whatever time was necessary to get to the bottom of it. The waiting area was spacious and well appointed, offering comfortable seating, tables, a separate TV viewing area, concessions, and several areas where you could charge your phone while waiting. After a reasonable amount of time, Jeff reported back to me, and informed me that the engine light was the result of a faulty O2 sensor, and that the fix WAS COVERED UNDER WARRANTY!!! and that his technician was fixing as we spoke. It was the best news I could have hoped for! Jeff also let me know about a couple of general maintenance items that would need attention soon - things that I was already aware of and planned on doing - and Jeff offered options and estimates for the work needed. Within 30 minutes, I was signed out, keys in hand, and bank account mercifully untapped. They even washed the car for me! While I hate to leave the amazing team at New Century Volkswagen in Glendale, I am grateful and relieved to know that I will enjoy the same kind of service, hospitality, and integrity at Capistrano VW! 2019 Atlas SEL R-line 4-motion. Purchased extended warranty for 9yr/120000 miles and was told everything would be covered bumper to bumper under warranty. Did not read fine print unt Purchased extended warranty for 9yr/120000 miles and was told everything would be covered bumper to bumper under warranty. Did not read fine print until the next day and saw there was a $100 deductible, which was never mentioned at time of signing. Feels like dealer pulled a fast one and snuck that in. Purchased scheduled maintenance package and was told would cover every 10K miles service from 10k to 50k. Did not read fine print until next day. Service was for 10k, 20k, 40k, and 50k mile service. 30k not included. I should have been more thorough when signing, but was at dealership for most of the day with 8 month pregnant wife, tired, and just wanted to get home (over 1 hour drive away). Felt dealership should have been more clear with what I was purchasing with maintenance and extended warranty packages, instead of being generic with explanation. Thus, feels like their bottom line was to sale and push more cost onto buyers. Was not given VW Financing at 1.9% (despite excellent credit score) with sale/dealer discount price because was told it’s one or the other. That was not explained when speaking over the phone day prior to coming in. Bate and switch sales tactics. Would have done more work to search for better credit union financing than last minute decision on the spot, if I was informed of that from the start. Had to pay for extra options that dealer packaged into price and would not remove. Cost transferred to me, for extra floor mats at privacy screen, things I never would have purchased but had to pay for. An extra $500 in cost for unnecessary useless products that will sit in garage.
