This review is for Capital Toyota PRE-OWNED CARS DEALERSHIP. This is the second car I've bought here. Ask for Curry! He's knowledgeable and efficiently assesses what's really important to you.. DEALERSHIP. This is the second car I've bought here. Ask for Curry! He's knowledgeable and efficiently assesses what's really important to you....and is up front if it's unattainable. He presents valid options you may not have considered, so you can make a confident decision. 🎶 He's got a way about him, I don't know what it is...but I know that I can't buy a car without him.......🎶 Joe Kaufman help wrap up the sale, assuring everything is covered. Donnie and James are great in the service department! More

My experience at Capitol Toyota wasn't horrible but it also wasn't one that would convince me to recommend them to anyone else either. I ended up at Capitol Toyota because I received a Final Recall notice also wasn't one that would convince me to recommend them to anyone else either. I ended up at Capitol Toyota because I received a Final Recall notice from the Toyota Takata Airbag Recall Center about my 2006 Toyota Matrix. When I called the Center, they set up an appointment with Capitol Toyota to have the passenger side air bag inflater canister replaced. They told me it was a simple repair and should take less than an hour to complete. Based on this information, plus watching a video (made by Toyota) on youtube, I decided to take my lunch early and wait at the dealership while the repair was performed, I made an appointment for 10AM and showed up at 9:55AM. However, my car wasn't pulled into the shop until 10:53AM. Fortunately, the repair was quick, as it was pulled back out around 20+ minutes later and I was able to get on the road just before 11:30AM. Unfortunately, I was late in returning to work... which would not have occurred had my car been pulled into the shop in a reasonable time frame relative to my appointment time. Also, my car had a strong smell of gasoline after the service tech parked it in the pickup area. The smell even persisted into the evening on my drive home from work but it was gone the next morning. This was not a big deal to me, as my car has 300,000 miles on it and I frequently carry chainsaws and fuel mix inside it, thus I'm used to that smell. However, if I were in dress clothes and a $50,000+ vehicle, I would be pissed! I perform most repairs on my vehicles myself and I always reek of gas and/or chemical smells when doing do. To expect a service tech NOT to smell like this is unrealistic...but maybe Capitol Toyota should think about having someone else pull the vehicles into or out of the garage. As I stated, I wasn't upset by this occurrence but I'm not of the genteel persuasion either. Final thought of my experience with Capitol Toyota: you could probably find worse out there but I'm sure you can find better too! More
