When we got back from the Test Drive, I decided with the incentives and how comfortable I felt, I would purchase this vehicle. I hate the pushy sales people, the long wait, the paperwork, and knowing that most likely they will take advantage of me and sell me tons of things I don’t want. I walked into the Carl Burger Jeep dealer knowing exactly what car I wanted. Let me tell you, IT WAS SO EASY! 0 pushiness, very friendly, an best of all it took less than 45 minutes!!! I was amazed at the attention to detail; Jack Ford took the time to explain each button and app in the car (hello SiriusXM Guardian) so many cool features in the 2018 Grand Cherokee. Bennett Owen made the paperwork so seamless and easy to follow. I purchased a maintenance plan that I actually needed and wanted at a great price. He was easy to talk to and relatable. He made sure I got the best interest rate possible. This experience has changed my view in car salesman and dealerships. More

I first talked to Sam Potres in an online chat, where he answered several questions I had about the car. Later in the day I went over to the dealer and drove the car. I had several questions about the warranty and repairs that had been done since the car was a "lemon law buyback". Sam was very helpful and provided all the documentation I wanted to see. I didn't have to wait too terribly long to talk to Fernando about financing. That part went smoothly as well. All told I was at the dealer about two hours. I had to come back the next day to pick up the car, Sam had it all charged up and waiting for me when I arrived. The only thing I will note is that the salesman, Sam, was using a few of the old-school high-pressure sales tactics, which can make some people feel uncomfortable. I was encouraged to come down right away because other people were calling about the vehicle, a typical sales tactic. I also had wanted to ask some questions before driving the car, but of course the first thing we did as soon as I got there was go for a test drive - it's the job of the salesman to sell cars, of course! However, it was not too bad - I wasn't handed off back and forth between sales people and there was no "I have to go ask my manager" type stuff. It helped that (a) the price of the car was already good and I had no intention of trying to negotiate further, and (b) I already knew exactly what I wanted, and wasn't being pressured into buying anything I didn't want. If you walk in to the dealer with these things in mind, you should have no issues, that's why I'm not deducting a star from my rating. Overall I had a very good experience buying from this dealer and I would recommend it. More
UNMOTIVATED SALES STAFF I am looking to buy a cargo van. I have done extensive research and determined that the Dodge Promaster is the van I want. Based on Dealer rating and other site ratings decided to deal with this dealership. I called and spoke to someone I believe his name was James. He was not able to answer several of my qiestions about the Promaster, I was trying to decide netween 136 or 159 wheel base.He took my name/number and said he would have someone with more kowledge call me back. That was last week. Still no call back.. Mind you I was going to drive all the way from La Costa to this dealership. Don't know if they just have so much business they don't care or if they don't take women buyers seriously, which would be very foolish given the number of women who buy their own vehicles. If this is their customer service to someone who is ready to purchase a vehicle I will pass because I fear it is unlikely to improve once they make the sale. More

We asked for Jesse, and in 30 minutes we had a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee! Mike, the hammer, sold us an extended warranty. Hope we never have to use it........ More
