That being said, among several dealerships in tri-state area, this is hands-down the most laid back and straightforward dealer I've been in, and they honestly are more concerned with customer satisfaction, even before the purchase, than most other dealers. It was black friday around 9 am i was suffering from a severe turkey hangover as i stumbled through the door. i was greeted by Tom windett and i told him that i was interested in a new fiat abarth! see it severe turkey hangover as i stumbled through the door. i was greeted by Tom windett and i told him that i was interested in a new fiat abarth! see it was only a week earlier when i lost my last car a sporty little model based on a dodge neon called an srt-4. her name was margot and for the past 7 years and 155,000mi. she was so good to me. but all good things must come to an end and in order for a new beginning to take place. it was a deer who claimed my baby and i wasnt able to to buy her back :-( so i was in desperate need for new transportation but im not the kind of person who just buys a "car" i like a car with personality! and i had heard that the abarth had plenty of that! so that was my first stop on the hunt for a new car, so after a few moments of checking the cars on the showroom floor out and making sure i could fit in one i figured it would only be right if i drove one of these little devils. it was then that tom directed me to a room full of only abarths, of all colors it was a sight to see and i had my pick of the lot. there was one white one and since margot was white i figured why not take that one. so tom went to get the key, as soon as he started it up i was taken back to my srt-4. that sound! so pleasing to a petrol head such as myself i think i was hooked. with a smile on my we walked back into the showroom and thats where i met john goeb. tom told me he was gonna take the car and put fuel in it and warm all the fluids. when john returned my girlfriend, john, and i all piled into the little fiat and we were off. after the test drive we came back to the dealer and headed in to talk numbers. i had a meeting with the insurance company i had to get to regarding margot and it was getting close to that time so john asked if i wanted to use the abarth to go there and he didnt have to ask me twice. so after that we returned and the numbers were in. they were at the top of my budget but actually really good "im just poor!" but i decided to look at used cars that were lower in price but when i looked at my pro's and con's the fiat kept winning in the pro's so by keeping in contact with john for a week my feelings for the fiat kept growing. so we set up a time the friday after when i first stopped in, it was johns night off but he had no problem coming in to meet me. i had been talking to john about features i wanted that the white car didnt have, so he showed me to this beautiful dark gray metallic abarth with white 17" wheels and i was in love. they even worked with me and got my payment to a place that i was really happy with and in about an hour i had a new car that i absolutely love! and although i havnt named her yet she is definately a great new addition to my family. and hope the next 7 years and beyond with be as joyful as the last, but im almost certain that they will. so to the friendly staff at carman fiat i just wasnt to say thank you for helping me find this great car. and john, "keep the rubber side down" my friend! I was interested in the Fiat and when I investigated via the internet, I saw a price that appealed to me. I was given an appointment, arrived and was greeted immediately.
