I have 12 years of experience with Carr Subaru and am now 45,000 miles into my second Subaru Outback. I have found the sales and service relationship positive throughout. To me, quality service includes straight, clear talk about service needs and repairs and courteous,responsive communication. In my auto past, I felt gouged by some dealers and carried a mild distrust. I have trust in Carr Subaru and have enjoyed the sales and service experience throughout. Ryan Herrle, the Assistant Service Manager,has been my point of contact throughout and stands out as responsive, courteous, and clear in his explanations of service and repair. I actually tried to buy my last car from him and he calmly directed me to the sales department! I understand that the company continues to assess the waiting room experience. Having spent some time in the setting over the years, I make recommendations. The area is devoid of vegetation, real or otherwise. The area could be broken up a bit by some plants, which would also muffle some of the sound created by phone calls and the like. Several more computer work stations would benefit. Perhaps a florist would donate bouquets of flowers in exchange for advertizing. The area is devoid of art and I would recommend working with Beaverton Arts to create a venue for rotating art, perhaps for sale. You might also offer some quality tea bags to go with the hot water machine. Perhaps some cost neutral vending machine offering healthy food snacks. Last, you might have a computer station that allows you to explore Subaru cars with a program to build your own. More

i purchased my Subaru in 2008. I have purchased many vechicles before but never used the dealer for service until I met Ryan in serrvice. Like getting a root canal. Sleazy and unprofessional sales people. Bizarre good cop/bad cop tactics involving a lot of unnecessary theatrics. Quirky staff, and not in a good way. Subarus are great cars, but Carr has terrible service. First I was looking at a forester, and I was offered $4k for my trade in to get payments where I wanted. When I changed my mind and went with the outback the trade in value of my old car magially dropped to $1k. When I argued they managed to go to $2k, which was the kbb trade in value of my car, but it was a lot of fighting to get there. Then they complained about me asking for them to replance the missing cup holder in the back, and I am 98% sure the car had a rear cargo cover when I test drove it (was gone when I drove it off the lot). Then at home I saw the online ad for the sar I had purchased and it was $1k less than what I was charged. These guys are crooked. The car had a low tire when I bought it, and they said they would fix it... but they didn't, 2 days later flat again. Les Schwab found 3 nails in the tire, and luckly fixed it free because I had an account with them from my previous car. One month after buying I have yet to hear back about any of my inquires about why my cargo cover was missing or why I was charged more than the advertised price. AND now I get a letter from DMV stating Carr didn't submit all the required documents for my registration and I (yes I) have 30 days to fix this. TOTALLY INCOMPOTENT LIARS, AND CHEATS. THEY WILL TEAR YOU A NEW ONE ANY WAY THEY CAN. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! More

I was looking for a used car and after visiting Carr subaru I was delighted to see so many cars to choose from and had a wonderful experience. Do not trust the sales people at this dealership. I walked away. later my phone rang and Miguel was talking to his fellow employees about my horrible credit and laughing about his service that he provided to me. I went to another dealership and found a car, was treated respectfully and would never recommend going to this store unless you have perfect credit and want to be treated rudely. More

I brought my 2002 Impreza Outback Sports in for a complimentary spring check up. My car was well maintained and they found couple minor issues. The side marker lamp inside the headlamp assembly was complimentary spring check up. My car was well maintained and they found couple minor issues. The side marker lamp inside the headlamp assembly was bad and they need to remove the front grill, than headlamp assembly before they can reach the bulb. This could end up costing over $70 for the repair. My service advisor Ryan showed my Dad the location of the clips that held onto the grill and the overall steps to replace the lamp. We bought the bulb from the parts department and did it ourselve. We had 6 subarus in the past and they were all serviced by CARR. We trust their recommendation and all the advisors are great to work with. Thank you Ryan for saving us the expense. More

I was due for a major service on my subaru but couldnt afford it all at once. Bob worked with me and guided me to get the service done in sections starting with the most important areas that need to get done and ending with the least important. Each time I brought my car in I was greeted with a smile and if Bob wasn't there the other advisors treated just as warmly and helped me out. I tell all my freinds and family how Carr help me get my car the service it needed while working with my budget and not pushing me into debt. More

For years I was a customer of Gresham Subaru, and I was never satisfied with the service I received. There were often long waits and repeat trips. I also hated having to schedule an appointment beforehand just to have an oil change. A friend told me about how great Carr Subaru was, and I thought I would give them a try. I called to schedule my next oil change and was told that no appointment was necessary! I went in when it was convenient for me, and Ryan had me in and out within 30 minutes! Wow! The icing on the cake was that they washed my dirty little car without me even asking! I happened to joke with the service manager when I was getting my check-in done that my car really was silver in color, not the horrible brown it appeared. To my surprise, Mike himself arranged to have it sparkling clean after the oil change. I have never received that level of service from a car dealership! Carr really goes the extra mile, and I would recommend them to anyone. More
