Located originally at 317 Lexington Ave. , the dealership moved to its present location in 1997. It is only fitting, since the present location on Broadway, was the original site of the beginning of the growth of the Cavender brand in South Texas.
Started by James M. Cavender, and his twin sons, Jimmy and Billy, the dealerships are now moving into the 3rd generation of Cavenders.

The remodeling of the dealership has been very hard to get your car fixed. If you complain non NON of the managers are ever available or will call back. Not the service manager or the general manager. Now get your car fixed. If you complain non NON of the managers are ever available or will call back. Not the service manager or the general manager. Now you can’t even call the service department. When you call Cavender Cadillac service department you are sent to a call center. What a joke. Made an appointment with them and requested a loaner car. When I arrived no loaner. When it takes 8 months to get a windshield bezel replaced and then it is installed incorrectly you have serious problems. If Mr. Cavender does not care his managers don’t care if managers don’t care nobody cares. This is my second and probably last Cadillac from Cavender. More

Great service department! I had significant front end problems and needed assistance. Service was open day after Thanksgiving. They had all the parts and fixed my car same da I had significant front end problems and needed assistance. Service was open day after Thanksgiving. They had all the parts and fixed my car same day. Purchased a protection package from Cavender Chevrolet and was told that any Cavender dealership would honor it. When we took the vehicle in for the first oil change, Cavender Cadillac said that they oper and was told that any Cavender dealership would honor it. When we took the vehicle in for the first oil change, Cavender Cadillac said that they operated differently than other Cavender dealerships and wanted to charge us for the service. More
