Hello Carolyn, I reviewed your service history and agree that the vehicle has visited our shop far too many times. Please accept my apology for this major inconvenience. I did note that we were actually in the process of addressing three issues: the driver’s seat lumbar and both the seat base and back heating systems. Unfortunately, the diagnostics and subsequent parts requisitioning necessitated multiple visits. I can assure you that we were following proper diagnostic procedures as prescribed by Chrysler. Regarding the seat back being left unattached, I believe there was a communication error on the part of the technician. Had he known that the vehicle was to be picked up that evening, he would have ensured that it was reattached. I was also informed that all repairs were complete as of yesterday. Again, please accept my apology and let me know if any issues are discovered to be unresolved. It is my understanding that we addressed all of the issues outlined in the agreement. That included a light fixture that was on national back order for a long period of time. We appreciate your patience while that dash light was repaired as promised. As for other concerns not outlined in your contract, Chapman Chrysler Jeep is not responsible for the cost of those repairs. When a customer purchases a used car it is sold as-is, and this agreement is acknowledged by your signature when you purchased the vehicle. Our extended service plan that you were offered but declined at purchase may have helped to cover the costs of the additional repairs.
