I feel the Service Advisor sold me unnecessary repairs Unprofessional and slimy. I bought my 2011 Subaru Outback from Chatham Pkwy Subaru and had all service done there in the past. No more! I have felt t Unprofessional and slimy. I bought my 2011 Subaru Outback from Chatham Pkwy Subaru and had all service done there in the past. No more! I have felt they were honest with me in the past, but last week was a 180 degree change in communication and sales tactics. After describing the noise coming from the front wheel of my car and bringing it in to the service dept, I was given a muddled unclear description of what needed replaced on my car and told that 3 wheel bearings needed replaced. I was told the rear wheels were the worst and they needed replaced the most. The front could wait. The part for the front would have to be ordered. I paid over $1000 dollars to replace the rear wheel bearings including $450!! in labor (completed in less than 2 hours) only to have 0 percent improvement in the noise and vibration, again, still coming from the front of the car. So I call the advisor and he says to bring the car back. He is off the next day so the next service advisor asks if I am ready to have the front wheel done for another $450!! Miraculously the part for the front bearing was in Stock the next day, ready for me. I said , no! I would not be spending any additional money with this service department since the $1000 repair I paid for did zero to fix the original noise I described. I feel I got taken by this dealership in paying for repairs that did nothing to fix the problem I described. More
