I recently purchased a 2022 HR-V Sport I had spotted on their website that was due to arrive at Checkered Flag Honda. Carl worked with me through every step of the process, from that first phone call to explaining the new features added since my 2016 HR-V. His honest, friendly professionalism was quite refreshing to find in the car sales world. The whole ‘What you see is what you pay’ pricing takes all the stress out of buying a car. No haggling. No salesman pushing to earn a commission. I hope to see Carl for my next car purchase. I highly recommend him. More

2019 Honda Accord Hybrid1. Over charged from original 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid 1. Over charged from original quote on transmission service by $80. 2. Did not perform 32 point inspection with oil change. 3. Botched Fuel Pump Recall, Blames contaminated fuel wanted $2200 for repair. 4. Fuel tested, Fuel not contaminated. 5. Spoke to 6 different dealerships inside and outside of the area....all 6 stated that they have seen this before and they have had cars comeback AFTER RECALL because their technicians make mistakes (It was nice to hear someone tell the truth when they don't have too.) I guess the difference here is that they hold themselves accountable and Checkered Flag Honda does not. ***additional note*** the original and replacement fuel pumps do not have part numbers on them so you cant tell if the recall was actually performed....and on top of that Honda does not audit the dealers concerning the recalls, so you have to trust that the dealer did the work:/ Kinda scary when we are talking about fuel pumps:/ More

Been looking for a vehicle for my daughter for a few months. I wanted a reliable car, so naturally I was pointed towards Honda or Toyota, and since I’ve owned a Honda for 18 years I figured Honda would months. I wanted a reliable car, so naturally I was pointed towards Honda or Toyota, and since I’ve owned a Honda for 18 years I figured Honda would be the likely choice. I’ve noticed that most CR-V’s we’ve looked at were at the side of the road dealers, and some seemed suspect. I finally came across Checkered Flag in which was a reputable name and had a vehicle we were interested in, so we went to take a look. Long story short, it was a good fit for my daughter, price was fair to better than fair, and I liked the 12 month extended warranty plus oil changes that came with the purchase, so we began the process. Yes I declined all the EXTRAS that were offered, extended warranty, a “separate” warranty for the key fob, etc. I didn’t think a week later the check engine light would come on and the key fob would fall apart. When brought in to check the service light, they said it was the catalytic converter @ a mere $3500!!, and is NOT covered under the 12 month warranty, but would have if I had bought the extended warranty! Also the key fob would have been replaced with the warranty ”I turned down”. I know the dealer would have plug the machine up and known about the converter before putting it out to sell!! They just cleared the code and put it up for sale! Lesson learned! More
