BUYER BEWARE — Extremely Disappointing Experience If I could give this dealership negative stars, I would. My wife and I attempted to purchase a 2023 Audi TTS that, as of this review, is still advertised could give this dealership negative stars, I would. My wife and I attempted to purchase a 2023 Audi TTS that, as of this review, is still advertised on the dealership's website. Our experience involved serious concerns regarding disclosure, pricing, communication, and how the dealership handled our cancellation. Undisclosed Lemon Law Buyback After reviewing the vehicle's current online photos, we noticed a yellow “Lemon Law Buyback” sticker next to the VIN plate on the driver's door. That sticker was not present when we put down more than $55,000, and the dealership did not disclose to us that the vehicle was a Lemon Law buyback. That is extremely significant information that should be disclosed before a customer commits tens of thousands of dollars. Pricing Concerns The dealership advertised a cash price of approximately $50,800, but during negotiations we were asked whether we had a deal at $62,000 out the door. Can you say RIP OFF? We also encountered what appeared to be a requirement that the advertised “cash price” was contingent upon trading in a vehicle and accepting the dealership's financing package. We were paying cash for the Audi and had no interest in financing or trading in another vehicle. Customers deserve transparency about the actual price and conditions of a transaction. Five Hours and Multiple Wasted Trips We spent nearly five hours at the dealership negotiating and completing paperwork. We did not take delivery that evening because we were told the Audi needed new tires due to a safety issue. The vehicle had only approximately 10,000 miles, which raised another concern. We were told it would be ready Saturday, August 8. Because we live approximately 1.5 hours away, we repeatedly tried contacting the dealership Saturday morning before driving there. We were repeatedly placed on hold and eventually gave up. About 15 minutes before our scheduled arrival, the salesman finally called and said the vehicle wasn't ready and would instead be ready Tuesday. On Tuesday, we again couldn't reach our salesman. We were told he was “busy making hot deals with customers.” Despite this, we drove through 405 traffic to the dealership, only to discover that the Audi still wasn't ready and apparently wasn't even at the location. Cancelling the Deal We requested to speak with the General Manager and received conflicting information about management's availability. We ultimately waited approximately 1.5 hours before speaking with a manager. We explained that we had not taken delivery, had not received copies of the paperwork we signed, wanted to cancel the transaction, and wanted our money returned. Management eventually agreed to cancel the deal, but even then we experienced additional delays and unnecessary waiting. Bottom Line This experience left us with ZERO confidence in this dealership. The combination of an apparent undisclosed Lemon Law buyback, confusing pricing, questionable conditions surrounding the advertised cash price, poor communication, multiple wasted trips, and difficulty cancelling the transaction was unacceptable. We ultimately walked away, and we believe we made the right decision. My advice: Get everything in writing. Independently verify the vehicle history. Confirm whether the vehicle is a Lemon Law buyback or manufacturer repurchase. Get the complete out-the-door price in writing before leaving a deposit. A dealership should make customers feel confident about spending $50,000+. This dealership did the opposite. Buyer beware!!! More
