Chevy Blazer 2019 Purchase I do not often review my purchase experiences, but prompted by the sales experience at Chevrolet of Naperville, I shall take this opportunity. Sales staff was excellent, attentive and very helpful, especially Ilene. Working from an online Chevrolet Build that I created, they searched the area and located the vehicle that matched. The Blazer truck was available for delivery in two days from another dealership. The purchase was completed in 2-1/2 hours with the finance office work done very efficiently, thanks to Premo. Final prep issues of muddy brake and accelerator pedals AND empty gas tank on delivery need to be mentioned in hopes that other customers do not have that experience in the future. After the purchase, HOWEVER, there was a wrinkle in the works.. I discovered that the Chevrolet build I had worked with, tho it contained side and rear warning technology, was ACTUALLY missing FORWARD Collision Warning capability. I expected that on a $44,000 vehicle that was touted to be a Technologically optimized product, like our 2013 Equinox. Being in my 70s, I preferred such features and had no idea that that would be MISSING. After discussion with several people at the dealership, I was told by Omar that there was NO option for me because we had signed approval of the sale and even tho the vehicle only had 120 miles on it, there were available ways to resolve that issue. My wife deemed Omar rude for that stance. On THAT particular problem I am DEEPLY DISAPPOINTED in the circumstances and ESPECIALLY UNHAPPY with the Chevrolet Build operation for the 2019 Blazer. Apparently that Forward Collision system is a HIDDEN option. Not Very Good for this 50-year GM person. Let Chevy know this. Thomas G. Murphy More
