They advertised a car with a certain amount of miles on it, and input that same number in the purchase agreement. They then shipped the car to me and it had 550 more miles than reported. I tried to resolve it, and input that same number in the purchase agreement. They then shipped the car to me and it had 550 more miles than reported. I tried to resolve this with them and they just said “well, then send the car back.” I will never go back to this company and I advise customers to be weary when buying cars from out of state from them. Chicago Motor Cars just earned a lifetime customer. I finally decided to stop into CMC, and meet Sebastian (uncle sebo). Sebastian made the buying experience so easy, and stress free. I’ve purchase from many dealers before, and the experience and knowledge of CMCs staff changed everything. The whole process was very fast. There was zero pressure, and everyone was very friendly. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE MASSIVELY INCOMPETENT PEOPLE! I purchased a truck from Chicago Motor Cars in January of 2023. Initially the transaction seemed to go smoothly, but once I got the title PEOPLE! I purchased a truck from Chicago Motor Cars in January of 2023. Initially the transaction seemed to go smoothly, but once I got the title in the mail the problems started. The title stated that I bought the vehicle from another business owned by Chicago Motor Cars and because the name didn’t match my bill of sale. When I tried to contact Jackson, the salesman that I dealt with, he was quick to promise that the problem would be resolved but in reality couldn’t even be bothered to return phone calls, never mind actually solve anything. The same is true of Sam in the finance department, more promises but no follow through. Every time I asked to speak to Sebastian, the general manager, he was conveniently not in the building and never returned my phone calls. Perhaps the most frustrating part of the whole ordeal was the fact that then entire time not a single person at this business could even admit that they were the ones who made the mistake, they just blamed everyone else when in reality it was their fault! I did eventually get the problem resolved, but only by continually pestering for a month to do the job that they promised that they would do. Frankly I’m amazed these people are still in business with this level of incredible incompetence and abysmal customer service. More
