I brought my Camry in for a 30,000 service and checkout because I'm about to take a roadtrip to the East Coast. First I made an appointment over the phone. Right away, I knew I was in good hands as the phone agent was extremely professional and scheduled my service visit expeditiously. She even followed up with an email confirmation. When I arrived for the appointment, the check-in process was remarkably fast while still thorough. The service agent told me exactly what they would do and when I could expect to pick up the car. After completing their preliminary check, they called to report on needed repairs and suggested, quite remarkably, that I postpone brake repairs until after my trip in order to get even more life out of my current pads. Later that day, as promised, I received a phone call that the service had been completed and I could pick up the car. When I returned, again I was delighted with the care that the technician took to explain the work done. The entire pickup and pay process took only minutes -- and I drove away in a well-running and washed vehicle. My wife and I each have Camrys, hers is a hybrid that she bought at Northside a few years ago. We have yet to have less than an excellent experience at this fine, professional, caring dealership. You can tell by the attitude of the staff that management must treat them as well as they treat their customers. Thanks for the great service. More
Mr. Peter Solber is the reason why I return over the 6 yrs, Peter works with customers budget. Peter give me advance notice when I may need service and estimate of what I need to save. I am happy to write a review for this dealership. The staff made me feel as if I had gone there for years. The service is top notch from when you drop your car off to when you pay the invoice at the cash staff made me feel as if I had gone there for years. The service is top notch from when you drop your car off to when you pay the invoice at the cashier. I have a couple of things I would like to highlight in my two visits to the dealership. 1.) Answered all my questions - and asked co workers if they did not have the answer (which is awesome that they didn't fake the answer) 2.) While I was waiting for my vehicle made sure I was updated with the progress 3.) Took an extraordinary amount of time to explain certain features of vehicle and how to program them myself. - Keep in mind I purchased this vehicle from another dealership! The other dealership didn't spend as much time with me when I bought the car. 4.) The customer facing employees made me feel appreciated for using their services - which is a breath of fresh air in these times! I would highly recommend this dealership for any Toyota needs.......I personally will not take my car anywhere else. More

I had originally sent out the e-mail that I would soon be in the market for a Toyota, so I had received a ton of responses from various dealerships with 'price quotes.' However, I was not able to move on it in the market for a Toyota, so I had received a ton of responses from various dealerships with 'price quotes.' However, I was not able to move on it at that time, but Northside Toyota's manager continued with a consistent follow-up email stating, when I was ready, to just call for an appointment, and how pleased I would be once I did. When I finally made it in I met David Gayles who took the time to listen carefully to my requirements for the car I was looking for. He then explained clearly their benefits and had me test drive them both (I was looking at the Camry XLE and the Avalon). It was such an easy and stress-free process that I felt like I could have been purchasing shoes. I had already braced myself for the 'experience;' the hard-sell, the being left in the small room to stew while the employee went to see about the 'acceptable price' and if I did indeed qualify for whatever level of interest-rate, etc. Mind you I had not purchased a car in a long while, but I was so pleasantly surprised to find that none of those expected stressors were part of my experience. Firstly, there was no little room (yea!!). It was determined early in the process prior to my test drive that I did indeed qualify for the many specials being offered. (yea again!) Patience and time was even given in my choosing of the actual color of car I ultimately decided to purchase. Full explanations with support of the other staff in the various other options without the hard sell was another plus. I was so impressed, that I have been sharing cards and the telling about this smooth process to anyone who asks about my great car. Pamela Sims More

My family drove our 2002 Rav4 to Chicago to attend my daughter's graduation from Northwestern University. Upon arriving, our vehicle began shifting erratically and taking off from a stop in second gear. At a local transmission repair shop, we were told the repairs would be very expensive. After some research on the web, we found the problem to be covered under extended warranty. We contacted Chicago Northside Toyota Scion and were treated extremely well. After I drove the car to the dealership, Connor Crawford arranged a ride (Michael was the driver) for us to the graduation ceremony. The ECM was replaced. We were picked up from our hotel the next day and driven back to the dealership, where our car was ready to go. We drove home with no further problems. To sum up, what could have been a nightmare experience of mechanical breakdown on the road was totally pleasant thanks to outstanding warranty by Toyota and outstanding service by Chicago Northside Toyota Scion. When I accidentally jammed the door to my Camry's center console storage, I asked Mario Flowers in Northside Toyota's service department to look at it. He immediately recognized the problem and described how it could be fixed. I was impressed by both his knowledge of the car and also by his clear and easy way of explaining what had to be done. The next day, when I brought the car in to the service department, Humza Chaudhry promptly greeted me and asked what service I needed. He too quickly grasped the problem with the jammed storage door, (correctly) estimated the time and cost, and promised to do all he could to see whether the repair would qualify for warranty work. As promised, Humza called within the allotted time to let me know my car was ready and to explain the work that was done. I'm delighted to know that Northside Toyota has reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable service advisors and mechanics who can fix the car when it needs fixing. I leased the car at this dealership with the patient help of Mirza and of Ben Shenk. They helped get exactly the car that I wanted and now I'm thrilled to be driving it knowing that there's an excellent service department available to help if I need it. More
Best Customer Service EVER!!! Jose Rivera(Service Manager) & Marcos....are simply AWESOME! (cant think of a better word to describe my experience with the two of them.) I've been coming to get my vehicle serviced here for almost 4 years (I Live closer to Grossinger Toyota on Touhy) But I make the drive every time because I know I'm getting Quality everything...from coffee to sparks plugs lol :) ! What keeps me coming Back???...Obviously the VIP treatment..... Starbucks...Plasma TV...Leather comfy chairs....and the Staff of course! The service area has recently been renovated they now have super comfy leather chairs (which I plan on buying soon) lol:) yummy Starbucks coffee for their customers (as always) and Just GREAT people to serve you...AND your vehicle! I've been a loyal customer for 4 years....and plan on purchasing again soon from Toyota! Thank you, Jose, Marcos, Toyota! More
First, let me start by saying my experience at Toyota Scion was AWEFUL! I called 3 times to ensure the vehicles (2010 and 2008 Ford Escape) were available and I specifically asked Josh and Sam if the 201 Scion was AWEFUL! I called 3 times to ensure the vehicles (2010 and 2008 Ford Escape) were available and I specifically asked Josh and Sam if the 2010 had a sunroof. Upon arrival the Ford 2010 did NOT have a sun roof. After looking at the vehicles Josh then informed me that the Ford 2008 was actually NOT available anymore and it was another 2010 limited edition. By the way, the 2010 limited edition smelt like AWEFUL smoke-if you want to sell it air it out!!! Second complaint, After asking about discounts I was told by Sam that they would take care of me and give me a good deal. Upon arrival and after asking Josh about what deal they could come up with the ford 2010 (even after it NOT having a sunroof and being the most BASIC on the market) he said nothing. They could do no deals. I told Josh that Sam had just told me they could. Josh went over to Sam, came back and said they could give me 250.00 off the price. When I asked why Sam would say that they could give me a deal Josh exclaimed that it was a great deal! What a bunch of sexist jerks. I will NEVER come here again and I will let my friends in chicago and wisconsin know how crappy this place is. Not only did I drive 1 1/2 hours to see 2 cars that were not what I told they were, but I was lied to about a working price. NEVER AGAIN!!! I went back to wisconsin with my uncle and got a great deal. Thank you Sam and Josh for NOT selling me a car because I found one for A MUCH better price that did NOT reek of smoke. More
