Unfortunately, this organization is highly unethical. I am not usually one to give reviews on anything, but this needs to be addressed. I will provide you with some numbers that will help you understand what this dealership is doing and warn you about what to look for before purchasing a vehicle from them. I traded in a 2018 chevy Silverado for a 2022 ram 2500. During negotiations, we agreed upon an out-the-door price of $70,054.00, this was a struggle even from the 73,500 they wanted for the vehicle, but it is what it is. We also agreed upon my trade in the valuation of 30,000, of which I owed 23,000. This should have left me with 7,000 off the purchase price agreed upon. Bringing the total down to 63,054.00. They brought one piece of paper with the payment amount of 1,051.00 a month. I signed, not thinking anything about the payment, considering I was worried more about the vehicle's overall price. They did not give me any paperwork regarding the financing that day and said I would receive it in the mail. They also said they would be paying the tag and tax in Alabama. They did not pay enough tax to Alabama, and I did have to fork out cash to finish paying the taxes. They did pay Florida state tax which I might get compensation for, so I won't harp on that too much. The paperwork I received from the lender did not include much financial information. At this point, I went digging because it did not seem right. Come to find out; I was financed for over 75,000; I was a little bit shocked, to say the least. I dug further to try and find out how this happened. It appears I was lied to, and he lied directly to my face. How do you expect repeat business when you are lying to people. They charged me the full price for the vehicle after the negotiation of 73,500, then added we agreed upon 70,000, and then came the BS charges, which I will list below. Perma Plate – 1,529.00 (this is literally nothing but scotch guard and wax) Electronic registration filing fee – 151.00 Predelivery service charge – 995.00 Sales tax (should have been included in the out-the-door price) – 1,002.35 County tax (Also should have been included in the out-the-door Price) – 895.32 Title registration- 171.25 Service contract (was never even mentioned or agreed upon)- 2,747.00 Tag agency fee – 79.00 Sales tax on Ancillary Products (whatever that is) – 192.29 For a total of ( $7,762.21 ) IN FEES!!! I am still trying to find out where the other 5,000 came from to get the financed price of 75,000 I am absolutely appalled at the ethnicity of this organization. I buy a vehicle every 3 to 4 years because of the mileage I put on them. The only reason I gave these numbers is so people can understand what they need to be looking for at this dealership. I was flat-out lied to, and I can't stand that. The cost is upsetting, but it doesn’t bother me as much as being lied to. I hope this information can help someone if you decide to buy a vehicle from here. On the other hand, I will never do business with step one automotive group again. More

Would NOT recommend this place to anyone. After taxes I paid 31k for a used Jeep Grand Cherokee. It was “certified” meaning was supposed to be inspected thoroughly to be certified. Well after purchasing it I noticed the rear door lock didn’t work and it shook horribly at 75mph and up to the point I couldn’t drive it on the interstate. Their test drive route doesn’t allow highway speeds. I took it back for them to fix it and after a WEEK of them having it I got it back and it still shook and they said they replaced the motor mounts because that is what they “thought” caused the shaking and a door lock actuator for the lock. Well I had to drive an hour back to them and sit and wait while they tried to balance the tires and it fixed it. And here I am a month later and the engine is tapping and transmission is shifting weird. Also the automatic lift gate is crooked and they tried to “adjust” it but couldn’t get it straight and I was told to take it to a body shop to have it looked at and here I am having to pay 450$ to have it fixed because well it’s been hit in the rear before and the hinges are bent. But it was inspected so well to be certified lmao. The salesman was awesome and deserves to work for a more honest place! And I’ve sent texts to the sales manager and he hasn’t text me back. Beware guys and gals. More

Arrived for oil change and tire rotation at 7:00 AM today. Second in line for service and it 2hours to complete the work. They work great with you to get the sale and after that, it goes south. The after sale side is horrible. I purchased my Jeep in early July while on vacation and since then, my temp tag has expired and my lo it goes south. The after sale side is horrible. I started calling a week before the temp tag expired and left numerous messages with no return call. It is now going on 3 weeks and I have finally spoken with 4 different people who all say they will get on it but nothing. Absolutely the worst customer service and follow up I have ever had. Will not recommend this dealer at this time at all. More

Montana the service writer walked up, and from first glance she knew who I was and said "You are the one with the tow hitch dealer code/wiring harness enable to turn on the brake lights". I go yeah that's me for an appointment. She goes yeah we can't do that... I signed up for the appointment the week before to do this, and this morning after my hour commute I get told that it's not available? To top it all off she goes "we tried to contact you at the number you left on file for awhile. I have no missed calls from anyone, no voicemails etc. This is my second attempt at getting this fixed. Once in Crestview, and now the second time here come on. I'd rate the experience 0 stars just because of the overall attitude when pulling in and telling me it's my own fault for making an appointment. More

WARNING! I would not recommend taking your vehicle to this service department if you have any work that needs to be done! I have had to take my Jeep back six times and they still have not fixed my Jeep f this service department if you have any work that needs to be done! I have had to take my Jeep back six times and they still have not fixed my Jeep from problems they caused. My oil was not properly inspected after I brought my Jeep in for an oil housing repair. Only after bringing my Jeep back in twice to be checked for noise issues did we find my Jeep had almost no oil. This should have been checked every time according to there 27 multipoint inspection on all of my documents. My jeep was ran for 30 days before it was determined it had no oil after they "repaired it". After, they tried to fix my motor from the lack of oil I still had problems that they still have yet to take responsibility for. My vehicle is still currently spewing antifreeze after they so called fixed it by tightening a clamp. When talking to the managers they say that the car was driven extensively to test for issues and all were corrected however that is not true I have a pictures below. I got it home the same day and antifreeze was every where there is no way they are truthful to customers and do not have your best interest in mind. And seemed aggravated with me. I did not like that part of my expierence and almost walked out without buying a car. I gritted my teeth and stood firm and after saying no a minimum of 5 times to added warrantys, I finally got my car. Dealership was very clean, tons of inventory to choose from. I would definitely reccomend. More
