This was my first service appointment at this dealership. My service adviser Robert was very informative, professional and courteous. He answered all my questions and provided excellent customer service. All My service adviser Robert was very informative, professional and courteous. He answered all my questions and provided excellent customer service. All the staff from the first person I met when I drove my car into the facility through the cashier were very pleasant and helpful. The customer lounge was very comfortable and the bathroom very clean. I will continue to service my 2019 Jeep Cherokee at this location even though there are other dealerships closer to my home. Do Not Go To This Dealer. Beware. I went to this dealer and ended up paying almost 2200.00 for an alternator and two batteries . The quoted me a price of 1600.00 then the found out my insurance was paying and ended up paying almost 2200.00 for an alternator and two batteries . The quoted me a price of 1600.00 then the found out my insurance was paying 1000.00 then they upped there price but didn’t tell me till I picked it up to 2200.00. Then when I picked up my Jeep it had scratches and grease on the vehicle and still had warning lights lit up on dash. The service manager Alex told me the warning lights will go away on there own.( they never did) and this same person denied that the scratches happened at the dealer even when I showed him picture of the vehicle when it was dropped off. This dealership is a complete rip off. Other customers were also complaining. When you enter the service department you have to wait so the employees can finish on there Facebook pages before they ask you if they can help. Management in this dealership is no where to be found. Didn’t want to write a review, but people beware. 2 batteries and an Alternator 2200.00. That says it all. Same service at other mechanics 850-900.00. This review is to help customers not to scare them. Go to another dealer even if you have a warranty. There short mechanics and rush your vehicle out without finishing. They don’t take responsibility on anything. I wrote a legal letter to Jeep corporate offices. They make there own prices!!! More
Worst service experience ever! Stole $60 in quarters out of my console. Brought Jeep there for an engine issue that was under warranty. They try to argue with you that it might not be covered until they dia of my console. Brought Jeep there for an engine issue that was under warranty. They try to argue with you that it might not be covered until they diagnose it. When I got the car back almost my entire console that was filled with $40 in quarters was empty. 3 months later, check engine light on. My trusted Mechanic read code and replaced a part. Check engine light on again and reading same code. Mechanic told me that Jeep computer needs to read it but it was a purge line and should only be no more than $300-$400 for Jeep to fix it. Bring car to Paramus Jeep. Told service guy about stolen quarters. This time I took a video and pictures of my full console of quarters as I was dropping it off. 6 hours later I still hadn’t received a diagnostics call. I went in and asked and he tells me exactly what my mechanic said but the charge is $1200! I decline service but have to pay $340 in diagnostics. When I get in the Jeep, about $30 more in quarters are missing again. I show him. He calls another guy there and they start questioning me. I showed them the video and pictures of when I dropped it off. They both look at each other and tell me that they have no answer. I was so mad. I left and will take it up with Chrysler More
I was extremely disappointed by today's visit to the service department for a warranty repair. I came in for what I thought was a bad water pump which turned out to correct, and the item was replaced un service department for a warranty repair. I came in for what I thought was a bad water pump which turned out to correct, and the item was replaced under warranty. All fine with that portion. However, the upselling by the service team member was disgraceful. We talked about doing the oil change (which was due), my fog lamp which wasn't working and needed a new bulb which is a quick fix, as well as the cabin filter and air filter as those are part of the 60k mile service (car has 59600 miles on it). Remember, I was only there for the oil change and warranty work. The service person wanted to do the coolant flush and transmission flush at a cost of around $700 on top of the service items I was there for, for a total around $1000. I bought this car 10 months ago as Certified Pre-Owned, at which point the car had gone through a 125 point inspection. To say it needs a coolant flush and transmission flush already is a joke. Those items were checked and addressed for them to even register the car as CPO and sell it as such. I said no to the additional items so it was just the warranty job, the oil change and filter changes. After waiting around an hour, I was called to the desk again by the service person and told that the differential service is recommended at a cost of $329 per differential, so around $660. Again, the car was a CPO purchase less than a year ago. Items addressed as part of that huge pre-sale inspection to be certified as a CPO car. Again, a disgraceful attempt at upselling. I turned it down and asked for them to just do the work I wanted to have done plus of course the warranty repair. Another hour passed (spend 3.5 hours there in total) and the car was done. I got the paperwork to sign, and instead of the filters being listed as items done besides the water pump replacement, instead the work order lists "Emissions systems service, power flush injectors, clean throttle plates, vapor flush oxygen sensors and catalytic converter". $200 for that. It also lists "Cleaner-Fuel System" for $92.57. Yes, those are items I didn't come in for. No mention of cabin filter, fog lamp bulb or engine intake air filter. At this point I'm so annoyed I can't wait to leave so I pay the invoice and get my keys and leave. After getting home, I checked the oil (all good and clean), the air filter (super dirty and not changed of course) and you guessed it, the fog lamp was not changed either. How do you accept this sort of service level? Are you upselling and xx'ing your customers on a regular basis? I'm guessing yes. I'm calling Stellantis CS in the coming days to voice this complaint there as well as sharing this experience any any place I can find online. I bought the car here last year and it was like pulling teeth. For example, they won't let you "go home and think about it" when you're talking about a deal with them. If you don't buy it then and there, they can't hold the car for you, even with a deposit. Real Wild West sales tactics. But that's another story. I'm never coming back here. Maybe Dodge in Summit or god forbid Autoland on RT 22 will do a better job. Having a warranty should make your service experience stress-free and it was anything but. The service department do nice work, so I'm not worried about the repair they did, but I am very upset with the upselling and absolute lies being told by the service advisor in this case. More
