In my my eyes these people are some of the biggest crooks. They got what they could and could care less about an person that mentally ill. There's way more to the story. If people only new about this company they would never purchase an vehicle from them. More
Don't Let them Lie to You cause they WILL!! I was badgered into buying a vehicle to the point of harassment. But I guess that is my fault because I let my self me bamboozled. On top of that, th I was badgered into buying a vehicle to the point of harassment. But I guess that is my fault because I let my self me bamboozled. On top of that, the finance department will lie to you! Oh there was a problem with the paperwork so you have to resign it. NOT! Financing had fell through and they didn't have the xxxxx to tell me until I question why the payment amount was different from the original contract. It has just been 1 thing after another. They do not have the 2nd key and want to charge me to program a key if I buy it so that I have a 2nd key. Don't get me wrong, I like the car. But this makes me wonder what kind of hassles I am going to get when it comes time for service work or God forbid I have to use my warranty. More
Military members BEWARE! Dont purchase from this dealership! I called this dealership and Stacy Penrod the sales perso n told be that i would be able to work a deal on a vehicle for my pre-approved loan of 35K. I called this dealership and Stacy Penrod the sales perso n told be that i would be able to work a deal on a vehicle for my pre-approved loan of 35K. She specifically told me that her sales manager said that everything with my trade looks good. Mind you that i am stationed 200 miles away in FL...She reasured me that if i drove there that i would be going home in a 300 srt8. The first prob. Was that when i got there she wasnt there (she promised me that she would be there) the second problem was that the 300 srt 8 had numerous problems (Stacy told me there where no problems with the car) the car had interior panels coming off, check engine light on, knock off straight pipes, highschool pieced air intake, spliced speaker wires, etc. I told the dealership that these problems had to be fixed. Then they said that eveything out the door for car is 43K thats a 8K difference from what Stacy told me. So i left the dealership pissed off, and before then they had the nerve to tell me "thank you for your service"...WOW! So now i put 400 miles on my vehicle and spent 7 hours away from my family all because they lied to me! I even tried to contact there customer service manager about it and he said he would get back to me about the situation and he never did. This is the worst experience i ever had with trying to buy a car! More
Mixed emotions. Will recommend with reservations of competence of service department and this is why. My husband and I purchased a 2015 Chrysler Town & Country fro Will recommend with reservations of competence of service department and this is why. My husband and I purchased a 2015 Chrysler Town & Country from Chuck Stevens Ford. While we are very impressed with their forever warranty, we aren't happy with certain things that happened the day of purchase. We decided on a vehicle on a Saturday. We went through the purchase process while they "detailed" the vehicle". Upon completion of paperwork, my husband had to leave for an appointment. I waited for the van. When we test drove the van, the driver's rear tire was very low on pressure, (15psi). I mentioned this and the sales rep said it would be taken care of. He also had to run down to the local gas station to get gas. When I started to drive off the lot, the tire still showed 15psi of air pressure. The gas gauge was a hair above empty and the auto detailing was a joke. When I asked the salesman, he said, "I didn't have much cash so I could only get a little bit of gas and had no money for air". My husband was completely blown away that they allowed a lady to leave with not much more than a flat tire, and they didn't have money for it? They have 4 or 5 dealerships in a mile span and there was no one to access an air compressor at any of the locations. Kind of a safety issue. Second issue, the day after purchasing the vehicle the passenger side door latching mechanism was acting up. I called the following Monday and they assured me they would take care of it. Prior to leaving the next week on vacation, I took the van in to have the tire fixed and the door serviced. They couldn't fix the door, as they said they didn't have the expertise that the Chrysler service department had. They fixed the tire....if you want to call it that. They plugged it and the plug came out 1 1/2 weeks later. I ended up taking it to a local tire repair business and he showed me the where it had been plugged. The tire repairman patched the tire the correct way. The door has continually got worse....it comes ajar while driving down the road. Seriously a safety hazard. When I talked to our salesman, he said that since we didn't buy the bumper to bumper warranty we were responsible for full charges of getting the door fixed. I understand they can't be responsible for every issue forever, however, I brought the door to their attention the monday after we purchased it on saturday. I firmly believe they should repair the vehicle! Neither here nor there. My husband said that since they would not make it right, we would take it to our HONEST mechanic to have it fixed. His confidence in their service department is lacking. His statement to me, "if they can't fix a tire, what makes you think they can fix a door latching mechanism"? Point taken. So....my review is 2 stars in stead of 1 simply because we are confident in the actual owner, Chuck Stevens, and if he was aware of the issues, we feel like he would take care of them. He is on medical leave so we aren't able to be in contact with him. Also, the forever warranty on used cars is awesome. It covers the engine, transmission, bearings....power train. That, you can't find at any other used car dealership. We feel their vehicles are very fair in price. It's too bad they didn't fix the tire correctly and the door. I would have given them 5 stars, had they satisfied me. More

I shouldn't have gone because she was rude on the phone but I did anyway. I showed up there only to realize she was worse in person. The most condescending young lady I've met in a very long time. And she lied about the price of the truck I wanted. I bought at Chris Myers the next morning. They told me that place had the worst reputation in the south Alabama. I can see why. More

I got a cup of coffee and went out to the lot to have a look around and see the new Ford trucks. I came into the showroom and sat down and had a conversation with Mr. Jr Byrd, he took the time to go over some possibilities of purchasing a new truck. Jr went over everything I suggested, his imput helped me out greatly. Then comes time for all the paperwork necessary to see if I qualify which is usually nerve racking for me. Jr made me very comfortable and said he will take care of everything for me. Mr. Vernon Pugh took me outside and we talked about all the possibilities concerning the purchase. He made sure that I had the best possible chance to make a purchase, he got me a great interest rate and price on a new truck. This is the 4th truck that I've bought from Chuck Stevens Ford and the most satisfying experience I've had. I want to thank all of your staff for the professional service they gave me. Especially to Mr. Jr Byrd, Mr. Vernon Pugh and Ms. Leslie McCraney for their professional and friendly service. I've told my friends about this experience and highly recommend Chuck Stevens Ford to everyone. Again, thank you very much for all you do to make this a very good experience. Mr. B. More
A/ C work & Customer experience Left our 2007 Mercury Montego we bought at Chuck Stevens for A/C diagnosis & to have oil & plugs changed. Left it on 29th of May & it was ready June Left our 2007 Mercury Montego we bought at Chuck Stevens for A/C diagnosis & to have oil & plugs changed. Left it on 29th of May & it was ready June 2nd. Said the compressor was leaking & faulty & would need to be replaced. I was given a price of $1400.00 for this. Quoted 236.00 + tax to change 6 plugs & $ 60.00 for a specified synthetic oil change. I considered 1400.00 a bit high for the A/C work but, was willing to pay more for expertise. When we went to pick up the automobile we were not informed about the warranty till we asked. It was quite good actually (24 months on parts and labor) We proceed to customer service & wrote the check to pay the bill. Upon reviewing the bill I noticed a $30.00 charge for a oil change. I told the customer service individual that took the check that I did not think it was right & did they put synthetic oil in the vehicle? ( We had bought this car new from there and always used synthetic oil in it) She phoned Leslie who came & said it was not synthetic but synthetic blend. She said it was her fault and if I could wait she 15 minutes she would correct it. As she was leaving I asked her if there was going to be a additional charge and she indicated to me "that it was not my money" so I took that as a yes. I had already written the check and told her I was not going to pay for a mistake and asked her to get a manager on the phone which she did. She talked to him and he told her not to charge us. I then was given a customer award or credit on my next visit of $88.00 As i reviewed this I noticed it had wrong address & city on it. It was given to my son who had previously bought a vehicle there. As I pointed this out the clerk said well I will keep his name on there and change address & city to yours. ( We have same name except I am Sr.) Overall I have been satisfied in the past with this dealership and have referred others to it. However, I think customer experience in customer service could be enhanced & would result in higher reviews. . More
This guy has more websites than I've ever seen in my life, every one of them priced different. Most, if not all of the sites have prices called "Equity Pricing". I still have no idea what that is, it do life, every one of them priced different. Most, if not all of the sites have prices called "Equity Pricing". I still have no idea what that is, it doesn't say on most of their sites. Others have the same equity pricing, but on these it says the discounted prices are with 10% down. Others say with $2500 down. which is it? But if you look at the window sticker of the new cars, the discounted online price is full sticker. Can you believe it discounted to full sticker. So does that mean they are adding more to the price of the cars so they can discount it back to full sticker? Is that even legal? My poor daughter drove over 100 miles to figure out she was being taken. and she called them before going down there and they continued on the phone with the scam. Do yourselves a favor and find an honest dealer. Companies doing business like this won't be around very long. We wound up in Pensacola. The dealer there is straight as an arrow. More
