It was time to replace my 2005 Subaru Outback that I purchased from Flemington Subaru in 2005. I knew that there was a change in ownership so Flemington Subaru is now Ciocca Subaru of Flemington. Fortunately the people in sales and service are the same. Having had a great experience with their service department as well as a family member buying a preowned certified Forester a few years ago, I knew that I wanted to buy my new Subaru from this dealer and continue getting service their their service department. I worked with Jeannette Macpherson who helped to steer me to the Crosstrek for my purchase because of the higher ground clearance and it being only slightly wider than my 2005 Outback. The only question was would I buy used or new. As my 2005 Outback would not pass inspection later this spring I knew the clock was ticking. Jeannette was wonderful to work with. As a women, it was so nice to work with a female sales person. There were very few options for a used Crosstrek but a couple of options of a new Crosstrek within my price range. When I went to for my appointment with Jeannette, I came in prepared to act quickly to take advantage of opportunities that might not last in this climate. After test driving a Crosstrek, I saw a 2023 Crosstrek premium with Eyesight that I liked and decided to make the purchase. Jeanette helped to make the process very easy, walking me through the things that I needed to do before turning me over to Eric Henderson in Finance. Eric walked me through the necessary paperwork that I needed to sign, explaining what came free with the purchase of my Crosstrek and discussing optional maintenance contracts. All this was done in a couple of hours on one afternoon. I was pleasantly surprised to be able to drive home with my new Crosstrek that same afternoon. More

Service takes customer concerns seriously and investigates problems. Technicians speak plainly and propose reasonable solutions. I am so certain that I wrote a review a few months ago but unfortunately, it is gone. It was shortly after my last service on December 12, 2022. I brought it in for a 48,000-mile service. I want to mention that I purchased my 2019 Legacy from this location when it was Flemington Subaru. The dealership has gone downhill in my opinion. In five months, I paid $1,032.39 I don't know about you. but that is a lot of money for a car that I maintain on a regular basis. I recently found out that Ciocca purchased Flemington Subaru. Years ago, I leased a Subaru Impreza from their Allentown, PA location, and I said never again. When the Subaru was family-owned, it was very different. You actually felt like you were a valued customer. I was bringing it to this location because it was convenient because I work next door at Hunterdon Medical Center. When I would drop my car off, I would put a time when I needed it back. When I called, they said they hadn't started it because the people waiting were a priority. I said what is the difference if I wait and you call me and I would be there in 5 minutes? So I asked them how much longer would I have to wait. They said it could be a few more hours. So I said I will bring it back another day. For this most recent service, they sent me a video. Then they told me that I would be needing a throttle body service for $258 and an engine air filter for $66. I asked if this is necessary. They said I would get better gas mileage and my filter was very dirty. Well to make a long story short. They lost my business. I will never bring my car back there because I feel that I was totally taken advantage of. I support myself and the fact that they don't think twice about charging these crazy amounts is horrible. Then after it's done, they send you an email saying to please rate them on DealerRater. Well, here you go. I guess they don't value their customers, especially when they purchased it from their dealer. I will say that Trisha has always been very nice to me, but I haven't had the opportunity to deal with her in a long time. There was a guy that came from mechanics and did customer service there, Brandt? He was extremely unprofessional and rude. More
