City World Toyota is the WORST Dealer I have ever seen. They just sell whatever junk and there is no after sales services. I bought my Toyota Prius 2006 (certified used) car from this stupid dealer and so They just sell whatever junk and there is no after sales services. No one is responsible for anything and there is no respect for the returning customers at all.Please do not go to City world Toyota, Bronx or recommend that dealer to anyone. More

What's funny about my situation is I had a very bad vibe from the salespeople in City World Dealership the moment I walked in. They act (key word here is ACT) friendly enough but for some reason I didn't fe from the salespeople in City World Dealership the moment I walked in. Unfortunately I let my love for Toyota blind me to this gut feeling and I allowed myself to go through with the purchase of a new car. I eventually found out nearly everything I was told was a lie and I had paid much more than others who had purchased upgraded version of my car at other dealerships. Ultimately I found out that it's not just the salesperson I dealt with who is like this but that many others had even worse situations than my own. Shame on Toyota for allowing the people in this dealership to tarnish their name. More

First i went to this dealer to buy a new car.The intial salesperson Gene was very nice and friendly.when i submitted to gene my proposal offer.He took it to his mgr.Well that's when everything went down hi salesperson Gene was very nice and friendly.when i submitted to gene my proposal offer.He took it to his mgr.Well that's when everything went down hill.Part of the proposal was to trade in my car.The salesman gene went outside and inspected the car2003 corolla that had only 4000 mi. on it in new condition.again gene was at the mgr's table.The Mgr. says $3000 that's it.Now i was about 15ft away so i overheard gene telling the mgr,the car's worth more then that,go outside and see for yourself,we've gotta a deal going here.That mgr refused to look for himself.So he comes over to my table and tells me that's it take it or leave it,and his voice started to raise after i told him it's worth more than that.I was extremely dissappointed that he refused to take the time and work something out.Also when the printout for my new car request was handed to me.There were two charges that i cannot remember totaling $800.bucks.When i questined what was that?the salesman said oh we can throw that out.I have been to 4 dealers and clearly that one was the WORST.And i'm telling all my friends don't go there. Funny 2 hours before I got a call from Toyota and they needed me come in a sign another contract something was not filled in correctly and I needed to come back and resign now they wanted to raise the price of my payment telling me they selling me the car below cost they are a bunch of liars and jerks. Why would a guy give say his name is Chris and then come to find out , it was Al. Now they trying to keep my deposit. I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau and with Toyota Motor Corp. This has been the worst experience in buying a car that I have had. They should get fired for their incompetence. If you have someone fill out paperwork -- you should know what they need to do to make sure it is correct. I bought many vehicles in my lifetime and purchasing my latest 2009 camry se from Enrique and Enley at cityworld was one of the best choices i've ever made. I've had several small issues here and there, but every time, all it has taken is a phone call to this guys to get it resolved. Like they said "buying from us doesn't end with the sell, we here when you need us". so far they've been the best and always on hand to help me. My experience with City Work Toyota in the Bronx was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. I was lied to, and deceived for the sake of a sale. I went in to sign a lease for my dad who has bad cre absolute worst experience I have ever had. I was lied to, and deceived for the sake of a sale. I went in to sign a lease for my dad who has bad credit. I spoke to the dealer who knew this car was not for me. We talked about financing. I asked specifically what do I need to bring with me when I come to sign the lease and he said nothing. When I got there they had wanted a down payment which I wasn’t prepared to pay so the taxes and fees were put into the overall bill increasing the monthly payments. I should have known then, but for my dad I signed the lease. I asked the dealer that if for any reason I would need to return the lease can I bring it back. He said yes, I may have to pay a penalty, but he assured me that I could return it. I even called him after I got the lease and he assured me that if I ever needed to return it I can. That was February of this year. By April I knew the payments were too much for my dad and I called to return it. He never returned my calls. I called the complaint line and put in a formal complaint. They informed me that everything I was told by Bronx Toyota was wrong. I can’t just return a lease it has to be repossessed, or pay the balance on the lease and return it. I called a lawyer who contacted Corporate Toyota, and they refused to get involved. They stated that each Toyota is their own entity and I would have to deal with them directly. When I finally got someone from the dealership on the telephone in late June I was told the best they could do for me was give me a coupon for a free oil change. I made it clear this car is a huge financial burden and I don’t want it. She said she couldn’t help me. I decided to ruin my credit and do a voluntary repossession. I took the car to the dealership and they refused to take it. They said the lot is full and they can’t accommodate me. I put the car on leasetrader, but no one wants this car. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH CITY WORLD TOYOTA in the Bronx. Hey will lie and cheat to make a sale, and then not assist you in any way after. Their service is poor, and I would NEVER again do business with them or recommend them to anybody. More

I went to City World Ford which I imagine is the same owner as this. I called ahead about a $6000 Sentra and was told that there was no dealer fees on it and that was the correct price. When I got there I looked about before hand and saw the car with a $10,500 sticker. The dealer I talked to didn't even apologize about the lie, he went away for a bit a came up with $4500 in fees to make the car $10,500. Includeed was a $1600 destination fee for a car that was in the lot. When I talked to the dealer he also refused to except that I didn't want to finance the car and tried to sell me some story about it being cheaper some how if I financed instead of buying straight out. Needless to say, a disappointing place, I wasted a good hour and a half driving back and forth to here. More

This is one of the worst dealer I ever met. Stupid guys are out there to show you car. If you do some research and find some car on thier website, 110% it wont be in the showroom to show you. I have worked in customer service for many years and was very disapppointed by the way we were treated. I will NOT recommend this dealership to anyone. More
