Fastest sale ever! We arrived at CitySide late on a Friday afternoon in a tow truck with our 11 year old Forester (and our first baby due any day no less). We had been We arrived at CitySide late on a Friday afternoon in a tow truck with our 11 year old Forester (and our first baby due any day no less). We had been shopping around for a new car for a while and the old Forester forced our hand that day. Pete brought us right in and went above and beyond - he literally sprinted around the dealership to get everything done in time for us to drive away that night in our new car. Regardless of the tight spot we were in, we left CitySide having had a wonderful buying experience. On top of that, the service on our old Subaru was incredibly reasonable, fast, and everyone at the service desk was friendly and very knowledgeable. We will definitely take our Subarus back to CitySide for any maintenance. All in all, a great find. We feel very confident in recommending CitySide to anyone. More

Tom and my new Subaru I want to thank Tom for his outstanding help and professionalism during my car buying experience. I arrived not knowing what type of Subaru I wanted I want to thank Tom for his outstanding help and professionalism during my car buying experience. I arrived not knowing what type of Subaru I wanted and Tom was very patient while explaining to me all the differences between the models and i took each one for a test drive to see what I thought. I was not planing on buying a car that day and I felt no pressure from Tom or anyone to "close" a deal during that visit. After much though I returned and bought a new Subaru Forester. I thought the price was very fair and never felt any pressure to "upgrade" or purchase any services that I did not want or need. I would recommend Tom to anyone who is looking for a Subaru. Thank you. More
Lost a loyal customer of 16 years My nearly-three-year-old leased Subaru Forester had a catastrophic brake failure that thankfully resulted in no injuries. I was shocked, as I've been driving Subarus for the last 16 years and have never had a service issue so huge and, quite frankly, scary. I had AAA tow my car to Cityside Subaru as it was the closest dealership to where my undriveable car was. I called the service center to give them a heads up and was assured that it would be a priority the next day. The brake failure happened on a Tuesday. At the end of the business day Wednesday, I still had heard nothing, so I called back. I was told that it hadn't even been looked at yet. They kept getting my name wrong. Thursday...same thing. Finally I speak to a representative (I had to call them, they never called me) who told me that it was going to cost me over $1,000 to fix, even though my car was under warranty. I had literally been planning to trade my car in for a new Subaru that weekend, so I told them to do the minimum work (still nearly $900). I was never called to say the work was completed, but finally reached someone on Saturday who let me know I could pick it up. When we get the bill, we see that the major part we are not being charged for is due to a RECALL. A little research shows this part malfunctioning caused the rest of the brake failure, yet that was not covered. I am obsessive about safety and my car, and keep all paperwork associated with it, including printing out all emails. I went through every single file and found no notification of a recall. So, no notification, then charged for the parts and services when I could have been killed by this brake malfunction. I was forced to pay the fee to drive the car off the lot, but I called Joe Cisek to contest these charges. I kept calling and got told he would call me back, and no one ever did. Finally, on my 7th (not exaggerating) attempt, I reached him, and he was out of the office and said he'd call me back. I explained the issue to him and he said he'd look into it. I get a call back (finally!) later that day that they would refund me the charges as a "goodwill gesture." While I ultimately got what I wanted, that's no goodwill gesture -- that's covering your own xxx for a HUGE mistake that could have had deadly consequences. Because I have always been in Subarus, I still planned to go to them first now that it was time for a new car (like clockwork, every 3 years, I'm in a new Subaru). Before we headed in I called asking to speak to a salesperson because I had a question about a deal I'd seen online. I told them what I currently pay and what I was looking for. The salesperson ACTUALLY laughed at me. He said that for my price range I could MAYBE get into a manual Legacy. I explained that I'd never had another Subaru dealer tell me that, and that, in fact, his dealership had worked with me before to come in at the price range I was looking at (up from my previous payments to account for inflation). He told me sorry, there was no way he'd ever be able to do that and I should look elsewhere. I took him at his word. The whole experience left me completely disgusted. I've put in a complaint to Subaru corporate, and I've switched my brand loyalty altogether after a wonderfully positive experience at Mazda, where I got all the features I wanted, better ratings in many areas, and a price that was at the same level as my 2013 Subaru. I would not recommend this dealership. More
Excellent service and friendly staff! I highly recommended Cityside Subaru for regular or unexpected service on your Subaru vehicle. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and my service I highly recommended Cityside Subaru for regular or unexpected service on your Subaru vehicle. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and my service was completed on-time. I dropped my car off when the service department opened (7am) and was contacted by service techs throughout the day if an issue came up with my Forester. In short, they checked with me before performing costly or complicated repairs. I have taken my Forested to Cityside many times in the past and will do so again in the future. More

I took my car in for an oil change and to rotate the tires and it took two hours! Perhaps this happens because they look for other things wrong with the car so they can offer to fix it ($$$). I would rather they just did the work I asked for in a more timely manner. They do provide a very comfortable waiting area including a quiet area in which to work. More

Aside from the fact that the designated parking spots were not yet marked, for which I had to park a little bit farther away, service was great. It was super fast. The person at the front desk was very, very polite and explained everything very clearly. The only detail was that the technician did not reset the two warnings the car was showing in the dashboard, so I had to wait a little until the person at the front desk (Alan Thomas) performed the 4-step process to reset them both. They were License plate holder fell off front of car (3 months old). Called Sales Rep, who told me to come in lat in afternoon. He alerted Service. They were ready for me and did the quick fix while I waited. Only advice, because it was my first time using service, was that the signage at the bottom of the ramp is misleading. The sign says, "Express Service" with an arrow that points to the left down the driveway behind the building. The service entrance was actually on the left of the ramp going down, before you got to the left turn. I had to wander around for awhile before I figured out where to go. More
