I had to pre-order my vehicle (an STI) and Mike and Dan answered all of my questions and negotiated the price (which in my opinion was very competitive)with me in advance. All I had to do was pick up the car when it arrived. I have bought Subarus at other dealerships and negotiations were very unsettling and my sense of trust was quite low. It was the exact opposite at Cityside. I'm sure they were happy to sell a car, but they also seemed genuine in their interest to get me the exact car that I wanted. They never pressured me to buy something off the lot to get a quick sale. Thanks Mike and Dan! More
Peter was highly professional and disciplined in his service and follow up. He was able to answer all my questions effectively. On this occasion another (larger) vehicle met our requirements better, but service and follow up. He was able to answer all my questions effectively. On this occasion another (larger) vehicle met our requirements better, but I would not hesitate to recommend Peter to anyone. More
The whole experiance was Great!!! From initial contact to purchase and after purchasing the customer service was great. Only if I had this quality of dealer in my area I wouldn't have had to travel 450 miles purchase and after purchasing the customer service was great. Only if I had this quality of dealer in my area I wouldn't have had to travel 450 miles to buy this car. That being said I would do it again simply because of there quality as a dealer. More
I walked into the dealer on a saturday morning, with no appointment and I was well received and taken care of. I went to this dealer after doing a search on new england subaru and finding the car I want appointment and I was well received and taken care of. I went to this dealer after doing a search on new england subaru and finding the car I wanted to buy, since they had the car I wanted there was not much negociating, but I came away satisfied with the deal I got, could have done better, but i really wanted the car they had. If i had one complaint about this dealer is that I could not take delivery of my car on the same day, because I came in on a Saturday; instead I had to wait until Monday to take delivery; my prior car buying experience to this one was different, I walked in and out the dealer in an hour with a brand new car on a Saturday as well with no previous appontment or arrangements. Today I posted to my facebook page, "Can you fall in love with a car dealership?" THAT's how good my experience with Cityside Subaru was. I went to Cityside vacillating between a 2011 Outback and another with a car dealership?" THAT's how good my experience with Cityside Subaru was. I went to Cityside vacillating between a 2011 Outback and another vehicle. And I continued to vacillate over the course of two months and multiple (as in, many many) test drives. My salesperson, Don Ratcliffe, was always in good humour, never put on pressure and supported my purchasing decision in a low-key, "let me know what I can do to help and when" fashion throughout the process. When I finally decided on the Outback, Don made the negotiation process pleasant (really)and easy. He got me the car I wanted, with the options I wanted (and then some), at the price I wanted. Awesome. I felt totally supported, and more importantly, respected, throughout the process. And when I picked up the car, Don continued to demonstrate unparalleled professionalism and enthusiasm for my purchase. Alan Lappas, Cityside's business manager, earned my utmost appreciation for going to bat for me when a credit score snafu almost nixed the deal and gained my respect for keeping all things finance-related straightforward and stress-free. Truthfully, I am grateful that a friend sent me to Cityside - I know that I am driving a beautiful new Outback due in no small part to the dealership managed the deal from start to finish. Share the love, indeed! More
This is the 4th or 5th transaction I've had with this dealership. I obviously respect it. This time my experience was totally satisfactory. Despite several glitches on my part, both Peter and Alan w dealership. I obviously respect it. This time my experience was totally satisfactory. Mike couldn't have been easier to work with. It was a very pleasurable, low pressure process and he really took the time to explain everything that we needed to know about the car and what our options we very pleasurable, low pressure process and he really took the time to explain everything that we needed to know about the car and what our options were, down to every button on the radio. We also went to the Manachester, NH location and delt with a somewhat agressive and frustrating salesman who tried to guilt us into buying a car for "driving all this way and wasting his time". Cityside couldn't have been a better experience and we are very happy with our car and the whole experience. I definitely recommend CitySide and Mike especially. More
This was the best buying experience I have participated in in 35 years of buying cars. Everyone was helpful but not pushy. Mike was low key--he told us what we needed to know, and was most helpful. We c in in 35 years of buying cars. Everyone was helpful but not pushy. Mike was low key--he told us what we needed to know, and was most helpful. We came in looking for a Subaru, and Mike carefully explained what was in our price range, why certain models/ trim lines are more or less expensive, the resale implications of options, etc. More
Although we were dreading the process of buying a new car, Cityside was a pleasant surprise. We were treated with respect and courtesy, allowed to test drive without the salesperson coming along, and giv car, Cityside was a pleasant surprise. We were treated with respect and courtesy, allowed to test drive without the salesperson coming along, and given opportunities to have private talks when requested. The comparisons of models and options were realistic for our stated needs. Friends recommended Cityside and so did the positive reviews they have garnered. Now we recommend them too! More
Excellent experience -- This was the first-time that I was buying a new car ever, and they made it really, really easy and cut away a lot of the stress that comes from making such a decision; they were he was buying a new car ever, and they made it really, really easy and cut away a lot of the stress that comes from making such a decision; they were helpful, explained everything, and were very low pressure with no stressful sales tactics. These guys made me feel very, very comfortable, let me do a couple of test drives, found the best fit for me, and offered me lots of choices. The paperwork was easier than I had thought, and they helped me through it. Everybody was great! More
