This time, Peter, Dan, and Nathan knew exactly what we wanted and streamlined the entire process. We felt that we got a good deal and even got some free ski lift tickets to boot. ;-) We'll be thinking of you guys when we load up the Subi for a day out on the slopes! Thanks for everything!! More
Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Mark was very helpful without being "car salesman pushy". Very accomodating on the test drive. Price was very competitive and lower than two other dealers. Mark seemed as excited as I was going over all the bells and whistles of my new car. Very enjoyable experience. More
I had heard good things about CitySide and had always wanted to look closer at Subarus, having never owned one. When I needed a new car I stopped by there "new" location (used to them being on Broadway wanted to look closer at Subarus, having never owned one. When I needed a new car I stopped by there "new" location (used to them being on Broadway in Arlington). I was met in the showroom by Glen Dalton who was courteous. No hard sales but did press for what I needed in a car, price range, etc. That was fine, and expected. He was able to narrow down the inventory quickly, show me some specific vehicles and respond to my comments as I drove each car. By time I left I had a great experience and a good idea what I wanted in a car. Definitely a Subaru Outback. Glen called ma back a couple days later, and we talked about moving forward. He was straight forward on negotiating and we came up with what I thought was a fair price. Immediately after that conversation, my friend who had loaned me his truck called and said he would need it back because a woman had crashed into his other truck. I only mention this because I subsequently asked CitySide for a number of favors which they responded to, and without knowing my situation. They were great. I immediately called back and asked if I could have the car a couple hours for a mechanics review. No problem. I asked if they could assist in getting my payment completed quickly. No Problem. I asked if they could provide a loaner car when they weren't able to turn over the car that day. No problem. They provided when they didn't really need to...the extra effort. All on a day when we were getting snow flurries, expecting a big snow storm, and they wanted to get out of there and go home. But I was particularly impressed when I asked about the 2009 Forester they had provided as a loaner car and what it would take to get me into that...Glen did not jump on the hard sale(which he could have easily sold to me)he responded with what my original goals were and to keep within those. So instead of buying the newer car for $10,000 more he convinced me to stay with my original purchase. Maybe he was just sick of dealing with me..haha...but that made a good impression. AND I'm loving the car I bought. When I buy my next car I will visit CitySide first. More
Mark Lidano was easy to work with, no pressure, very informative and available. The rest of the folks I dealt with were equally friendly, helpful and responsive. A really fine dealership, well organized informative and available. The rest of the folks I dealt with were equally friendly, helpful and responsive. Going in to Cityside Subaru is always a refreshing pleasure compared to ALL my experiences at dealership service centers in the past. The pricing, I have to admit, is so good because I have the compr pleasure compared to ALL my experiences at dealership service centers in the past. The pricing, I have to admit, is so good because I have the comprehensive, extended warranty on my Subaru - which is unparalleled in how much it covers... so I'm always pleased when even minor repairs are covered! The intake crew for service arrivals is quick and easy. Then there's a comfortable seating area with coffee, flat screen t.v., comfortable chairs, and a work-area for laptops. They always call my name almost TOO QUICKLY to tell me my repair is done. In times I have had to leave my car for the day, they have a great drop-off/pick-up service to Alewife T-station. And in the one case where my repair wasn't completed by the end of the day, they speedily got me set up with a loaner for the night. Awesome customer service. Well worth the price of going to the dealership for repairs. More

We went to Cityside because we had done research and the Forester was the car for us, we had been told that the service at this dealership was the best in the Boston area. When we went to pick up the new Forester was the car for us, we had been told that the service at this dealership was the best in the Boston area. When we went to pick up the new car it had been damaged in the parking lot, we decided to leave the car and have it repaired and delivered to us, which was done within 36 hours. What could have turned out to be a lasting bad impression was avoided by the "let us take care of that immediately" attitude. More
Michael was very respectful, helpful, and not pushy at all. He let us take as much time as we needed to test drive multiple cars and never pressured us into a decision. He was very honest and upfront. Onc all. He let us take as much time as we needed to test drive multiple cars and never pressured us into a decision. He was very honest and upfront. Once we decided to by negotiating the deal with Rob was quick and relatively painless. Everyone we dealt with seemed to not be typical car salesmen. More
