A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, David Wilson has been involved in the automobile industry for nearly 40 years. He was vice president and general manager of Covey Lincoln Mercury in Phoenix, Arizona, for five years before coming to Toyota of Orange in 1982. Before buying out the owner of Toyota of Orange in 1985, he was the vice president and general manager. Mr. Wilson is now the owner and president of sixteen automobile dealerships - employing nearly 2000 people. Mediocre service overall. Has big lounge with free drinks if you are a waiter like me. Maintenance service job is acceptable meaning its not bad and its not something to write about, just acceptable, but the if you are a waiter like me. Oh btw, be sure to clarify to the service advisor/writer what service you are going in for because I went there for a 20k service and she even asked me for the mileage of my car which is 20,700+ only to find out after waiting for 2hrs 45mins that she did 15k service(tire rotation only)! Freaking annoying! I had to go back again for the 20k which is BIG HASSLE on my part. The customer service/brand relations whatever reached to me and told me they will get back to me tomorrow, which is upto today that tomorrow never came. Seems like they are short-staffed thats why some services is suffering like when I tried claiming a warranty for a water leak but they wanted me to leave the car because the person assigned to do the checking/report is still has his hands full from other work. And just leave it without option of giving me a loaner car, where if the car has no issue in the first place then I dont have to claim a warranty, right? Toyota corporate says different from what dealers says, annoying. If you are near the place, and you want free drinks on a spacious lounge, and just doing a regular maintenance job and doest care to wait for 2.5-3hrs atleast even with appointment, then you can use this dealership.
