Classic Chevy Sugarland promised me a car that I had been on a waitlist for 2 years to receive, worked with a salesmen to preorder the car the day the preorder was made possible and waited for the order to b on a waitlist for 2 years to receive, worked with a salesmen to preorder the car the day the preorder was made possible and waited for the order to be accepted by GM. The day the order was accepted by GM I called the salesmen who then informed me that the owner of the dealership will be keeping the car and they are only getting one of them so I’m not getting the car I waited on a list for 2 years to receive. This is the same dealership where I’ve purchased my last 4 cars AND had them all serviced at this dealership over the 10+ year period . My loyalty ended after that phone call and I will be taking my next 10+ years of service and car purchases to another Chevy dealer after being treated this way by Classic Chevy of Sugarland. Apparently loyalty and customer service only goes so far. At the very least it would have been nice to know that the owner was interested or was going to keep one car if they received an allocation so i could have put my name on other dealers waitlists for this car, but they didn’t inform me of this possibility in fact the salesman told me that if they receive an allocation I will get the car i preordered. I have been extremely loyal to this dealership and trusted them due to our past history and didn’t want want to break that trust by starting talks with another dealer they complete with; hindsight is always 20/20.
