When we told him we were interested in the car, he asked a few questions, asked us what we liked about it, he was interested in making us happy, not acting like he was looking for his next paycheck. This was an aboslutley painless transaction; if the consumer does their homework then works with the staff its a win-win situation for all. Only a consumer knows how much they can afford to spend before walking into a dealership, the staff member has no idea; talk, ask questions and most of all be honest with the staff member. If the staff member can put you into a dealership vehicle they will, they got nothing to lose and you the consumer have everything to gain. I got the deal of a lifetime, and would be happen to explain how to anyone that wants to email me.
