I brought my 2013 Pathfinder in for service on Dec 10. It was without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had. First it was brought in for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. The lady who “took care “of us seemed only interested in trying to sell us other services. What in the past had been a 30-45 minute process turned out taking over 2.5 hours.
First, she told us that there were 3 recalls on the vehicle, that we had not been informed of and that it would take an additional 3 hours to make the repairs. When I told her we would have to reschedule for that work, she told us our car would be ready in about 30minutes. 30 minutes later, she came and told us that we needed a new cabin air filter, as well as new tires and break pads. When I compared what she said the tread was with the “sample” on the desk, I clearly did not need new tires. I told I just needed my car. She told us they would finish up then and we would have our car shortly.
30 minutes later she came out and said we had a nail in one of the tires and that they needed to fix that and that would be an extra charge.
Nearly 45 minutes later when we complained, we shortly got our car back. What we discovered was that after all that time the oil warning and the tire rotation warnings had not been reset and now come on constantly.
According to the display on the car. The front tires are inflated to 36lbs, while one of the back tires is inflated to 34lbs and the other inflated to 41lbs.
Based on all of this, I have no reason to believe that any of the service I was charged for was actually performed.
