Four hour waiting nightmare Let me start by saying that last year when I went to get my car inspected it was not a good experience. I did not think that it could get any worse, b Let me start by saying that last year when I went to get my car inspected it was not a good experience. I did not think that it could get any worse, but it did. I scheduled an appointment through their web site for 9 am. When I followed the steps to schedule the appointment it only offer the option to either drop off my car or to get a shuttle ride. I wanted to choose a waiting option, but it was not available. Since it wouldn’t let me continue through the process unless I chose an option I selected shuttle ride, but on the final page where you can write a comment I specifically wrote that I was going to wait while my car was been serviced. I got there at the time of my appointment 9 am, I took my car in for an oil change and to get it inspected. After two hours the service representative that checked me in finally comes to get me and tells me that my car did not pass inspection. He told me the repairs that need to be done to pass inspection and also other suggested repairs made by the mechanic, over 2,000 dollars all together. He was telling me the cost of the repairs like it was no big deal, yeah if I was making over 200k it wouldn’t be, but live on a budget 2,000 dollars is a big deal. So I expressed to him that it was to expensive he told that he was going to give me another estimate with after market part. I went to the waiting area, half an hour later he calls me to the desk again. At this point I have already been at the dealership for two hours and a half. So he gives me another estimate the price did not change by much, so I told him that I was not having the repairs done there. He said that he was going to let the mechanic know and have my car pulled out, before he checked me out. Ok, I thought it should not be long before I get out of here, boy was I wrong about that. It still took them an additional hour and a half to finally finally checked me out. Yes if you came up with a total wait time of four hours you are correct. Four long hours for only an oil change and an inspection where no repairs were done, thank god I did not have to go to work that day nor had any other plans. I bet that when they read this they are going to say that it was because I selected the shuttle option when I scheduled the appointment, to that I say why do you have a comment section if you are not going to read after it goes through the system. They might also say that I should’ve had called to specify that I was going to be waiting, for that I say; what is the point of me making the appointment through the website if I have to call in anyways. I have owed hyundai cars for the last 13 years and have been to this dealership no less than 20 times, and I can only recall two instances when my cars where serviced in a timely manner. If you go and get fast service consider it an exception not the norm. They must have their technicians work on multiple cars, if that’s not the case then they should hire someone who makes sure the works gets done in time. I have always taken my current car to this dealership for inspection, nine years, I drive less than four thousand miles per years but they only have given me one emissions exception during that time. They charged me 99 dollars for the oil change, emissions and a failed state inspection. They told me that if I went back after all the repairs were done that I was going to have to pay an additional 25 dollars. They should have had given me an exception for the emissions and I have no idea why I would have to pay 25 more for the state, the only additional charge should be 7 dollars which is the price of the sticker. I’m done with them if I ever go back it will only be to buy parts to do it myself or have the repairs done somewhere else, other then that I do not see myself going back. So this was my 4 hour odyssey, I sincerely hope that if you still decide to go you have a much better experience than me. More

The day we got serviced we received a discount coupon in the mail and asked if the discount could be applied retro and they were unwilling to do this. This left a bad taste in our mouth and we will go elsewhere in future. More
