Amazing service experience! So I am a first time VW owner and I just want to let you know that I have dealt with John Lacey in service 2x's now. I had an issue with a key where So I am a first time VW owner and I just want to let you know that I have dealt with John Lacey in service 2x's now. I had an issue with a key where I paid to have it re-programmed. On the second visit they determined it was a faulty key. John actually went back and gave me a credit for the work they did on the key as it was faulty to begin with. That along with the great level of service and communication is amazing. I have owned many different types of cars including luxury and John/Colonial VW has been the best by far! Also I love my Passat!! Not sure I am going to be able to go back to a Japanese car after how smooth this car handles. More

However, they had a used Jeep on the lot that matched a lot of my criteria, and I wanted to check it out. So I caved when I saw it was not sold. I almost left without it but Jason Garrette made the numbers work. He is great to work with. I also made contact with Kathryn and Keith - who were also wonderful. So while I still would not feel comfortable returning for service, I was fortunate to work with these 3, and am thoroughly enjoying my "new"- used Jeep. More

Best Purchase Experience in the last 45 Years I have purchased many cars over the past years and have always felt that after the deal was made, the finance person screwed me for a few thousand mor I have purchased many cars over the past years and have always felt that after the deal was made, the finance person screwed me for a few thousand more, until my experience with Colonial VW and Kathryn Gear. I was dreading the final process of car buying... the finance guy. Kathryn Gear was perfection. Explained all of the options concerning warranty coverage and options. There was no raz-ma-taz, no fast talking and absolutely no pressure. Only a cordial respectful and informative buying experience. I don't know where they found Kathryn, but they need to hold on to her. She is GREAT. More

Connor was fantastic. I rarely write reviews. However, I went to Colonial VW completely upside down on my current vehicle. I first went to Herb Chambers Honda and they ba I rarely write reviews. However, I went to Colonial VW completely upside down on my current vehicle. I first went to Herb Chambers Honda and they barely gave me the time of day. They told me, in so many words, to leave because I was way too buried in my current SUV. When they did make an offer it was so absurd that I had to laugh. I went to Colonial VW 10 min later and met Connor. Nice guy. I told him my situation and he simply said he would see what is possible. Sure, I would have to roll in money and pay more, but they ended up heavily discounting my new SUV and added a bunch of sign and drive bonuses. In the end, I am paying less than what I was paying before with only $500 down. They were NEVER EVER aggressive or pushy. Everyone was polite. They made no grand promises. They simply knew where I was and we both worked together. Connor stayed an hour past his shift to make sure I got my car the SAME DAY it arrived from the truck after landing in the port a few days earlier. Honestly, it was me that was a little pushy and Connor was a gentleman. I told him I wanted the car done the same day and he did it. This was a busy Monday so I know the service team was not too thrilled. However, I was treated fantastic. In the end, dealers get a bad rap for a variety of reasons and it is usually the customer's fault with their unrealistic expectations. I was certain I would be stuck with my aging SUV until Colonial worked out a deal that probably made them less money than most sales. I also had to pay a little more.
