2014 VW Jetta TDI There are 10 different VW dealerships within a 50 mile radius of me and I chose Colonial VW of Westborough for my first car purchase. After graduating college I wanted to get in a fuel efficient car that would have excellent resale value. Everyone knows that VW Jetta TDI's are reliable and capable of 600 + fuel ranges so I decided to investigate further. I started my process by emailing several dealerships and Colonial was surprisingly my second pick. However, after going into the Colonial dealership and dealing with Tim Barnes I decided to make them my first choice. Tim Barnes helped me out with the process and didn't try to throw in any hidden fees ect. It was straight forward out the door pricing! All said and done I am happy with my first car buying experience and my next TDI will be purchased here at Colonial! More

I am especially grateful for his patience with my many telephone calls and questions and for his helpfulness, beyond expectations, by providing transportation to and from the dealership. Using Consumer Reports 2014 Best Cars issue as a guide, I had spent many months searching for a small SUV. I had tried most of them, but the price given in Consumer Reports had put me off looking at the Tiaguan. It took me a long time to realize most manufacturers have several models. A basic SUV and then one or two fanciers models at a higher price. Consumer Reports only lists the price of the model they actually test. I just needed a basic model. I used True Car to determine the price and actually got my SUV at a lower price than many listed in Consumer Reports. My criteria: sit up high, great forward and rear visibility, four wheel drive, easy to view dash, great safety record and to feel comfortable in both the driver's seat and vehicle as a whole. I had not found an SUV I really wanted to buy. Finally I tried the Tiguan. It is an ideal size for me. The Wild Cherry red is a plus as many other SUVs did not come in appealing colors. Doing my search I decided I wanted a navigation system, but did not want to buy a package, as often required, of unwanted features to get this one. Brendan helped me find an after market navigation system and had it installed. I had gone to two other Volkswagen dealerships a bit closer to home before I used Colonial. At one I did not like the sales person; at the other, I did not like the purchase terms. I am very pleased to have found Brendan and Colonial. I feel secure and comfortable with Brendan and Colonial and look forward to a continuing supportive relationship over the years. More
