Bought my first VW and my first diesel (Jetta TDI) at the end of March and it was a very positive experience. He was upfront about the pros & cons of each vehicle model and had candid pricing discussions that laid all the cards on the table. I felt like I was making an informed decision rather than trying to get past the usual smoke & mirrors of other dealerships. In addition, Mike made my family feel comfortable during the entire process and he has been diligent in following up since my car purchase. As a woman and a diesel "newbie", this responsiveness has been much appreciated and I would recommend Mike to anyone who dreads the car buying experience. The sales staff, especially Mike Lodowsky is a "honest stand up" kind of guy who will go the extra mile for you regarding helping you find the perfect vehicle for your needs or desires. He will answer all your questions, and if he doesn't know the answer right away he will get back to you very quickly via telephone or email or text, whatever you request. I also like to dealership because its kept immaculate, very clean and a new appearance at all times. The service waiting area on the second floor is very clean with big glass windows that let lots of light in (make you feel very comfortable). It has lots of seats and tables for you to do any work while you wait for any service done on your car. The dealership even has Handicap access for those that need it. What made me want to buy from them was the feeling I got, that they want to treat me like family. They seem to be most interest in a long term relationship with your car needs, and want to do whatever it takes to not just sell you a car, but check up on you to make sure everything is ok, and even text you to offer free service follow-up. That is what did it for me. I'm not saying I want to be Wined and Dined with a dealership experience, but I want to feel as though they are genuinely being proactive with my car needs, not just at the time of sale, but after as well. I get that from Colonial Volkswagen of Westborough. They make me want to come back to them for service or any other car needs. While it took my wife and I two weeks to settle on exactly what car was the perfect fit for us (size, color, engine, and interior options), Colonial kept me coming back to them over other dealerships due to their nice persona and no BS sales pitches. They earned my respect and I feel I can trust them. I encourage you to try them out and see for yourself.
