I just wanted to say that last week my car was running a little rough so I stopped by the dealership to see what was wrong with my car. I have a VW Tiguan 2013 and it was the first time in my life I had to service a car. My ex-husband always took care of it and I was at complete loss when the display started blinking "service now". First thing I went to Colonial Volkswagen website since I always heard very good things about this dealer. It was extremely easy to book an appointment online ( I am a computer person) which I had to change to a different date and rescheduled the service in few minutes with no issues.First A grade was on how easy is to navigate on the website and the make changes. Then I got there as I said with no clue, parked my car somewhere and went to the service area. The Service Advisor, Bill Mcgrath was absolutely amazing. From taking my car from where I parked (which it was a wrong parking spot) and nicely explaining for future services where the parking is, to explaining what my service entails, giving me updates on how long I have to wait and what is the stage of the service, and also explaining what are future steps in taking care of my care and what I have to be aware off, I was blown off. In summary I had to experience the great things I heard about this dealership and I had a great and educational experience of myself and I would go back in blink for any problems. I have not have the greatest experience with sales, and another service technician, however I will not go anywhere else but Colonial for service/routine maintainence because of Billy McGrath. He's always upfront, honest, hilarious, kind, and professional. He will bend of backwards as much as he can to help you. I've only been there a handful of times since moving from RI, but Billy M. made me feel like I have been going there for years; pretty much like family. I would highly recommend Colonial Service to anyone that needs their car fixed (big, or little) or even just routine maintanence done. You'll love Billy just as much as I do..so GO FIND OUT WHY! The service team is the best I've ever experienced. They are all great but I specifically deal with one service representative in particular most every time...Bill Mcgrath. Bill always gets me in for service when it's easiest and most convenient for me--even on short notice! I always get updates regarding how the service is going and when my car will be ready and I get it with a smile and with laughs. And what's really cool is the fact that Bill has been there from the beginning (for me at least) and knowing your service rep for that long at the same dealership really instills a sense of trust that I wouldn't get anywhere else. I needed my headlight replaced and had already bought the bulb but didn't have the tools to fix it. I called Colonial VW and the woman on the phone was very nice and told me to bring it right in. I went on my lunch break, was there under an hour and didn't have to pay for it! I was expecting some type of labor cost even though I already had the bulb. But they didn't charge me and even washed my car for me. It was a great experience and the man, Bill, I worked with was super friendly. I will definitely be going back for service in the future. Our 208 VW Jetta was making a noise that we were very concerned about. I called and spoke with Bill Carr and he was fantastic about getting us in on short notice to have the car checked out. Bill Mcgrath has been my service avisor for many years (15+) and some 400,000 miles from 3 VWs that I have owned during this time frame. HONEST, TRUSTWORTHY! and goes to extrodinary lengths for your total satisfaction.
