Say they require a $500 good faith estimate to start paperwork process. Did that, never started the process, just gave us some round about numbers. When we found a vehicle at a different dealer, they refused to refund the $500 “good faith estimate” which is now called a deposit and said we entered a contract. So basically, paid $500 to talk to a shady car dealer on the phone. I’m sure if you end up buying a vehicle from them it’s no big deal, but when you don’t your out the money. More
