I had a great experience buying a car from Cortese Ford. The final cost was much lower than comparable vehicles at other dealers. When a clerical error was made with my tax (I live in a different county with a different rate) the management took the difference and gave me a discount on my extended warranty. The car wasn't ready to leave the lot yet so I went out to dinner, came back, signed my paper work, and the car was ready to go washed and with a full tank. Wayne got me setup on Ford Sync with my online account and with bluetooth on my phone. It was a great first time car buying experience, thanks to Wayne, the financing team, and the excellent management. More
i just want you to know i bought a cobalt ss there, the car is great, but your dealers and sales manager are very tackie and unkind. adam valentine was alright but failed to tell me the passenger door pane car is great, but your dealers and sales manager are very tackie and unkind. adam valentine was alright but failed to tell me the passenger door panel was coming off, which said they couldnt fix because its not covered by lemon law. all it is is a clip and you couldnt fix it? i spent 11000 on this car and i must say for the money spent, your service is terrible. they "waxed" it before i picked it up......i ended up having to finish waxing it myself because whoever waxed didnt do a good job at all, tons of wax lines all of the car. and your sales manager joe, hes got a serious attitude problem, he got extremely mad when i changed my mind on getting the warrantee because he tried to pull a fast one on me.he was slamming papers down and trying to make me feel like an idiot for not wanting the warranty. and im telling you as a business owner myself, that is terrible for business. my aunt had a similar experience with you guys as well. so just wanted to let you know in the future i will not be coming there for a car purchase and neither will anyone i know for that matter. have a great year. Tim was amazing!!!! I have wanted the car I bought for 3 months but was hesitant to get it because it was more than I wanted to spend. Here we are 3 months later and I'm happy than I ever thought! I was in the market for a used care to replace the vehicle for my wife. Cortese was the first dealership of many that we visited, and in the end it was where we came back to make our purchase. Our salesman was James Jochen and he was fantastic from beginning to end. He was attentive to our needs and to our budget and found us a vehicle that worked for us. He was responsive and attentive to all communications that we had over a week and a half period. He was polite, friendly, and willing to get an answer for us, even if he had to "go the extra mile" to get it for us. The overall customer service was absolutely wonderful. Every person that we met along the way was kind and courteous to us. The price that we paid for the vehicle was several thousand lower than the KBB estimated value and much lower than other dealerships in the area for a comparable vehicle. All in all I would definitely return back to Cortese in the future when I will be looking for another vehicle. More
The only reason I did not give a 5 rating across the board is because it took almost 6 months for my built to order Ford Fusion Titanium Hybrid to arrive. I do not know if this was something Cortese could have controlled. However, once it did arrive, there were some scratches on the finish. The dealership and Fahad did everything they/he could to compensate and correct for that small issue. Since delivery, I have only had good experiences. Management at Cortese have so far been very accommodating dealing with any concerns I have with the new car. I have the resources to get any high end sedan I want (Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, Infiniti, Audi), but I went with the Fusion Titanium Hybrid as the best combination of style and substance, and chose Cortese because of the convenient proximity to my office. My hope is that maintenance and followup customer service will be exemplary despite a few initial hiccups. More

We moved to the Rochester area a few years ago after purchasing our Lincoln Navigator elsewhere. The service we have received from Dino has been nothing short of amazing. He has always treated us as if purchasing our Lincoln Navigator elsewhere. The service we have received from Dino has been nothing short of amazing. He has always treated us as if we had purchased our SUV from their dealership and has gone above and beyond great service on more than one occasion. The dealer that sold us the Navigator was inept and incompetent. The paperwork regarding the extended warranty and maintenance we purchased was either submitted incorrectly or not at all. Dino stayed on top of this dealership until they submitted the correct paperwork that accurately reflected what we paid for. In addition to that, he stayed WAY beyond closing time one snowy, windy night to wait for me after my window got stuck in the open position so I could drop off the car and get a loaner until my window was repaired. When my husband came to see what had happened, the battery in his car died and Dino stuck around even later to give him a jump so we could both make it home safely. Every time I have needed help, Dino has been courteous, kind and ready to do what it takes to solve my problem. As a current or previous owner of BMW, Audi and Mercedes, I have never received this level of service from any dealer, anywhere.
