Josh Jenny also, having the finance part did not try changing numbers on me and respected my yes or my no's. I left him with the same monthly payment I was supposed to have. from start to finish, it took 3 days to get our van "completely", when it was promised to be ready at 5:00 on day 1. we were promised a new battery when the van didn't start for the test drive, told "completely", when it was promised to be ready at 5:00 on day 1. we were promised a new battery when the van didn't start for the test drive, told they'd get it inspected and it'd be ready at 5. we paid our deposit and left our plates to be transferred. we returned at 5:00, and our plates weren't on the van. we were told to take it with dealer plates and return the next day because it hadn't passed inspection. the next day came and went and it still didn't pass inspection. bring it back tomorrow we were told. it's very concerning when in two full days a "quality" used vehicle can't pass inspection. the third day, the van had to be jump started by my husband and to our dismay the battery had never even been changed. my husband returned the third day and told our salesman we wanted it done that day as we were really starting to question our choice to buy this vehicle from cortese. he also asked for a tank of gas due to the inconvenience of all the back and forth. as soon as the battery was really replaced it passed the inspection and was returned to us. as an added slap in the face, there was less than a half a tank of gas and the windshield washer fluid was completely empty. when I called to voice my dissatisfaction, I was offered 3 free oil changes....why would we ever bring our vehicle to a shop that doesn't do what they promise? More

When I was about to take delivery of my 2009 Lincoln in January 2010, my husband was in intensive care, without a good prognosis. This level of Customer Service brought me back to Cortese, & in particular to Tim. He is an outstanding, caring individual and both he and Dino have ALWAYS gone the extra miles to take care of me. In past years I have dealt with Cortese (Dodge) when I decided to buy a Ford I thought I would give Cortese Ford a try. I did a Sunday drive through to see if Cortese had the car I was interested in. T decided to buy a Ford I thought I would give Cortese Ford a try. I did a Sunday drive through to see if Cortese had the car I was interested in. There were a whole line of them; but one stood out. I noted its location. Monday I drove to Cortese and walked through the front door. A salesman with a big friendly smile approached me, “Tom Ciavarri” he said and extended a hand. Hank Harrison I replied. “Is there something I can show you, Tom asked. A New 2012 Ford Transit Connect if you have one. Follow me Tom motioned. We walked across the lot directly to the van that had caught my eye. Tommy showed me all of the Transit Connects features; he explained it was a well proven van that had been sold in Europe for nearly a decade. That it had Fords dependable 2.0 four cylinder engine. (Like the one in my daughter’s mid 90s Focus) Tommy offered a test drive; I jumped at the chance. I loved the view from the driver seat, like a greenhouse. Tommy pointed out how nimble the van was, indeed made for narrow European streets, I felt I could go anywhere in the US with room to spare. Driving around I discovered Tommy and I had the same sense of humor as we likened The Transit Connect to the “SmartCar” of mini vans. Back at the Dealership Tommy put on his “I am a professional hat” and we got down to business. Questions about what I could afford per month, what about a down payment, trade in, all the necessary information to make a deal. Soon we were both satisfied with the numbers there was a handshake that sealed the deal. Would I recommend Tommy Ciavarri to a friend? You betcha. I would be sure the friend would get an honest deal.
