Over Priced Labor Vehicle was in for Recall Notice and Inspection. Needed new rear shocks for my 2010 Ford Escape to pass inspection, these were not struts where the sp Vehicle was in for Recall Notice and Inspection. Needed new rear shocks for my 2010 Ford Escape to pass inspection, these were not struts where the springs needed removed and compressed, just regular 2 point fixed locations. Price per shock was OK, but Labor to install was over $225. I have been to other service garages over 40 years and Never paid this much for installation, but I needed the inspection done as it was the end of the month. I would highly question the labor rate if other work is required again. More

Was told that the shop opened up my transmission to take a look at my clutch (repair was for a possible clutch issue, car was recalled by ford), but didn’t replace the clutch, instead put clutch failure warning software on the car. If transmission was being opened why not just replace the clutch. More
