Working on an out-of-state sale with Corwin Toyota, nearing the final stretch and all has been great thus so far, but since all work has been dine via phone, video, email & text - I have not yet had th nearing the final stretch and all has been great thus so far, but since all work has been dine via phone, video, email & text - I have not yet had the honor of meeting cutepie Louie. But he gets a 5 star rating nonetheless on cuteness & Muppetesque factors alone! What an adorable lil face!!! Vehicle was to have been gone through prior to leaving dealership and before we had made it 30 miles my wife noticed I had a brake light out... upon inspection I discovered a front running light out. NEVER got inspected is what I am thinking even though I was told it was and actually had to wait at dealership while inspection was occurring. Now I am wondering what else was to be inspected and did not, or got ignored. So every time I get in the vehicle I wonder what I am going to find next? Always wondering? It was such a disappointment to get a phone call from Tarsha about a car I was interested in, get the price of the car confirmed over the phone even with my city taxes, only for me to drive an hour and a Tarsha about a car I was interested in, get the price of the car confirmed over the phone even with my city taxes, only for me to drive an hour and a half away from my home to the dealer to get informed by Tarsha that the car was incorrectly priced. I asked to speak with a manager who I let know how far I drove and how I confirmed the price over the phone before I came in. He said unfortunately this happens often there’s nothing we can do when vehicles get pushed through our inventory and get incorrectly priced instead of 21,000 this car is actually 34,000. I was so disappointed but the associates tried finding me other similar vehicles. Tarsha pulled up two cars for me to look at but I told her they did not have the features I wanted so I was going to look elsewhere. She then asked me what features in specific and I told her heated seats and remote start. She said she can make it happen because of the inconvenience. I was happy at this point until we got to the paperwork and the two accessories were in fact not included. I paid $850 extra for the remote start and instead of them covering the heated seats, they took off the price of the Datadots which was $400 instead of the $800 seats. And proceeded to confess that datadots come with every car automatically but it is not a required purchase so actually the car should’ve been $2000 less and instead I just paid more for what I wanted. I have let everyone on my platforms know that this is not a required purchase as the car will come with it anyway. Eric J from finance just kept telling us the whole time that they are losing 7k on the car, which was not even my fault because I did not negotiate the listing price on the vehicle and was even paying for my own accessories so I’m not sure why he tried to make me feel bad ???? More
