Excellent service with functional waiting area Although my two TSX Wagons rarely malfunction, all of the routine service and repairs performed by Courtesy has been efficiently and carefully complet Although my two TSX Wagons rarely malfunction, all of the routine service and repairs performed by Courtesy has been efficiently and carefully completed. I am generally biased against dealers, because many of them exalt form over substance and I find evidence of careless work after picking up my car. Not so with Courtesy, whose technicians do excellent work. Moreover, the staff including Vanessa Harris and Lou Taylor are always knowledgeable and accommodating. Finally, the waiting area is completely functional so that I can always get my work done while I am waiting almost as efficiently as at my office. More
Disappointing and painful experience on my first service MDX Todd, It was a very disappointing day at service and I never expected this from Courtesy Acura, besides taking 4.30 hrs for a routine service, A1 serv Todd, It was a very disappointing day at service and I never expected this from Courtesy Acura, besides taking 4.30 hrs for a routine service, A1 service to be precise (of the 2019 MDX ) just a ten month old car which just required an oil change and tire rotation, your team delivers my car with a deep scratch of the left rear door (possibly scoring from the shoes) and you assumed that the scratch pre-existed until I showed you the pictures I had taken before handing over. It took for ever to buff to make it look good and even after that the scratch did not go. I am very upset. When I handed over the car I specifically mentioned to (I guess it was Michael Wajler) that there are no scratches or scuffs on the car and to be very careful while handling. He assured it will be done. Despite the fact, the vehicle was mishandled. It was just not the scratch, the glass weather strip was defective right from the day of purchase, they replaced with a new one and glued it to secure that firmly, but in the process the technician had to remove the door cladding, the side view mirror and left dirty stains and glue on the steering wheel, glue on the inside side-view mirror cap and on the gray fabric wrapped on windshield pillars as a result of working with dirty hands. The technician has no clue how to handle a new car. You guys took your own time to do the job and messed it up. Due to these delays, I also missed my following appointment in Denver and had to rush back to pick up my daughter from school at 4.00 in the springs which is an hours drive. Courtesy Acura seem to be having a reputation for service based on the online reviews and your team proved it all wrong, it was not a walk in service, we came with an appointment despite that it took so long. Your technicians needs to be provided a thorough training. I have a lot of cleaning to do now. Over all a painful experience and it has left me terribly upset. I take a lot of care for the car and this one incident has left me very upset. I am not sure how my car will be handled in subsequent service. I have the pictures that I had taken before handing over. Because the tendency is always to cover up the mistake and blame it on the customer. More
Unexpected repair The fan motor 3 days before a 20+ hour car trip. Your center could not get me in before trip. Had to switch cars with my husband instead. Drop off time was super busy and customers were waiting 3 in a line for the service rep. Service rep, Todd, is really nice. Took him a long time to get my problem list right in the computer. He couldn't locate my rental, and when we finally did, it still had someone's stuff inside. Todd found another rental for me, a really nice 2019 rdx, so I did enjoy that. Todd told me he would call when he had an estimate for me and could see if any of the work would be covered by warranty. Did not hear from him, so I texted for an update. He texted back he would call me later. He did call me, at 650 am (I'm up anyway...). We went over what he knew and I agreed for him to proceed. I did not hear from him all day, texted for an update. He texted back at approx 5:30 pm that the car was ready. You close at 7 and I'm 50 minutes from you, so I wolfed down dinner and headed out. Arrived at the dealership at 6:50 pm. At checkout, Todd revealed two filters needed to be replaced. He told me we spoke and I deferred the service. We never had a conversation about the filters. I am now taking the car to a local place to have filters done. Not worth my drive, even though I do get a sweet ride as an incentive. More
