Normally, I would rather go to the dentist than go to a car dealership. I feel like they are trying harder to rip me off than my rich email friends in Africa. On the other hand, the guys at Courtesy Mits car dealership. I feel like they are trying harder to rip me off than my rich email friends in Africa. On the other hand, the guys at Courtesy Mitsubishi treat you like a friend. It's a good dealership and had a good selection of cars and trucks on the lot. I got in and out with a great deal in two hours. More
After a test drive, the Optima was the car that I compared everything else against. The problem was that I was looking for a six speed. Shawn called me just days before I signed on a Subaru to tell m compared everything else against. The problem was that I was looking for a six speed. We arrived at the dealership with our three children in tow 2 year old twin boys and a newborn . If anyone that has had experiance purchasing a vehicle can tell you it can be a lengthy and taxing event wit tow 2 year old twin boys and a newborn . If anyone that has had experiance purchasing a vehicle can tell you it can be a lengthy and taxing event without the addition of young individuals. I applaud Tony for his help AS he interacted with the children with ease and sincerity which made the process much easier. Throughout the process of installing the car seats in the test vehicle /test drive / and eventualy closing the deal he engaged all of as individuals in a proffessional manner that is seldom seen in this day and age .Joking with the kids filling ballonons for them . He helped us make the right decision for us.We found him to be knowlegable , courteous , and helpful. A true proffesional in a field that has too many apprentices. Thank you Tony and the rest of the Courtesy staff M&J More
Fixed a computer problem for free in my 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Coupons for service are also great. The service people are very helpful and informative on upcoming services and preventive maintenance. Eclipse. Coupons for service are also great. Where else can you go and look, sit and touch the cars Where else can you go and look, sit and touch the cars without a salesperson coming out to attack you as soon as you head over to the car. We love Where else can you go and look, sit and touch the cars without a salesperson coming out to attack you as soon as you head over to the car. We love seeing what vehicles they have out on the lot. Also, you get to check out the new Makes and Models. This is one tradition that will stay because we love coming here. More
I had gone to this dealership to lease a new car. The sales person did get me to a dollar figure that was in my budget with a complete wash on my 2004 Beetle, since I owed more on it then it was worth, b sales person did get me to a dollar figure that was in my budget with a complete wash on my 2004 Beetle, since I owed more on it then it was worth, but dollars were not that far off from value and pay-off. But when I went back and was in the office with him and the sales manager, I believe, it was all a blur now..they kept stating that they are not making their quota for the end of the month, because at that point they were looking at other dealerships for the car I wanted. Not my problem! if they did not make their quota. Then when I was speaking to the manager, he wanted to see if I would take a deal from them and lease the 2011 model on the showroom floor but it would be 45 - 50 more a month. I said if you really want to cut a deal for me you will offer me the lease on that model for the money already set on the purchase contract. He told me no, he could not do that. I thanked him but stated again I need to stay in my budget for what I have allocated for leasing a car. He turned and looked at me and stated 'You said that twice already!' Yes I did and responded.. yes and will state it again! The nerve. Speaking with the sales person on the phone he mentioned the fact about him not making his quota, his car broke down and how much he had to dish out for repairs.. and then he said, 'Oh yeah, and I guess I have to call over there on that car.' REALLY? AS stated in that office that day, this car was coming into the Port of NJ.. so who were they? As a consumer, I felt that they were trying to push me into a sale prior to the end of the month so they could make their quota and really not caring how I felt about my purchase as a consumer. Very poor customer service skills and very unprofessional. You don't ever, in any business make a customer feel that they are not worthy and that is how they made me feel. It is not my fault or problem if they don't make their quota and I really don't care about their personal problems regarding their car breaking down and how much it cost. I am there not as a therapist but a consumer and expect to be treated as so. Needless to say, I am taking my business elsewhere and will never recommend this dealership to any of my friends or aquaintances. I put a stop payment on my check and will be going to the dealership to obtain it. More
I'm 57. I have three daugthers. I've owned (or signed for) __many__ cars. My oldest bought a sorrento 2 yrs ago, but I really didnt pay attention that much; seemed like a suprisingly well built affordable car. When my Taurus finally bit the dust a few months ago, I started looking and fell in love with the Optima; couldn't resist that heated steering wheel! I test-drove one at Metro, but their attitude turned me off, and they didnt have what I wanted (an EX in black or brown). I worked with BaldHill and Putnam.. and found better prices and attitudes, but no stock. I then called Courtesy in Attleboro. They had a few EXs. Tony was the salesguy right at the front door when I walked in w/ my youngest (my 'car-haggling coach.. we've been thru the scene a few times together before). Tony was THE BEST car salesman I've ever worked with. No BS. He 'went to the pit' for me several times to get better prices... and the end result was that I got a much better deal, with better financing than I found at either BS, P, or M. Two months later, my youngest realized that her '2009 Fusion was at it's resale-peak... and that a new Forte would give her better mileage, awesome warranty, etc.. for now much $. So.. back we went... and bought a new Forte from Tony. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him. As long as Tony's at Courtesy... go there. You wont find a better carguy. One more thing... as I was signing the paperwork for my Optima... another guy came in, and started looking at the same car (my daughter and I almost blurted out 'hands-off! thats ours'... In any event, I ended up chatting with him for 10 mins as we talked shop about the Optima (he ended up buying one). He told me a story about the Courtesy service-shop that really floored me. Totally unsolicited, he ranted about how great they were.. especially to his wife, apparently they bought a Sportage a few years ago from them. I've never had that happen before. I havent needed much in the way of service yet, but its quite reassuring to know that they are real, and seem to really live up to their name. Definitely not your typical image of a car dealership. I went to this dealership to purchase a luxury SUV, the salesman I initially spoke to was Tony who despite this bad review was the most helpful person at Courtesy. He was always interested in helping me a salesman I initially spoke to was Tony who despite this bad review was the most helpful person at Courtesy. He was always interested in helping me and to do his job of selling the car to me - we agreed on a price after some negotiation and I thought that was the end of things only to have a guy called Scott jump on the line and tell me that he can't sell the car for as low a price as we'd agreed and in a very pushy and arrogant manner started to insist I pay more, at that point I said forget it I want my refund back and then Scott gave up and sold me the car at the price agreed. When I go to pick the car up I notice a few things about the car that haven't been mentioned until after I agreed to buy. The car didn't have the set of car mats that came with it, it had no 2nd key, the central cupholder console lid does not stay closed and there is no car manual or vehicle service history. To top it off the dealership doesn't fill the tanks of used cars so if you're lucky you'll have enough to get the nearest gas station. The price I agreed originally also contained the dealer documentation fee but when I got to the dealer they tried to suggest it was on top of what we agreed - if you ever have to use this dealer get your deals noted down or recorded as they will try to worm their way out of anything they can.
