I recently visited Courtesy Toyota in Brandon, FL. looking for a preowned truck. I was assisted by Brittney and would highly suggest asking for her specifically if you visit this dealership. The beginning of July I brought my 2007 Toyota Tundra in my minor work on a door hinge and windshield wiper sprayer. After going through my vehicle they claimed my truck needed over $4700.00 worth of repai my minor work on a door hinge and windshield wiper sprayer. After going through my vehicle they claimed my truck needed over $4700.00 worth of repairs. This included a timing belt, rear main seal replacement, o-ring, other gaskets and seals, and lastly a tune-up. First of all, my vehicle recently had a tune-up and timing belt replacement. The oil leak was so minor two other mechanics from other auto shops stated it was not causing enough oil to even add additional oil between changes. Brandon Toyota policy of recommending repairs be done is highly questionable. I would be very leary about any work they recommend on a vehicle. Always get a second opinion because clearly they are fabricating their repair recommendations. More
