I needed assistance obtaining my Florida disabled veteran license plate, and I expected the dealership to handle the matter with professionalism, accountability, and basic respect for its customer. Julio C. Arenas, Financial Services Manager, explicitly assured me that he would stay on top of the situation and call me back the following day. That call never came. When someone in a management position makes a direct commitment to a customer and then fails to follow through, it raises serious questions about the dealership’s customer service and accountability. The biggest problem is not just the failure to resolve the issue; it is the failure to communicate after making a promise. Customers should not have to chase down a dealership representative for an update after being told that someone would personally handle the situation. As a disabled veteran, I find this experience particularly frustrating. Veterans deserve the same professionalism, consideration, and follow-through that any paying customer should expect. Courtesy Toyota had an opportunity to demonstrate that its customers matter. Instead, my experience left me feeling ignored and let down. I expected action, communication, and accountability—not an assurance that was followed by silence. I hope dealership management takes this complaint seriously, reviews how this matter was handled, and makes a genuine effort to resolve it. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Courtesy Toyota without seeing meaningful improvement in its customer service and follow-through. A promise from management should mean something. More
