I then took it to Bastrop Covert. They discovered that there was a fuel tank issue, a broken motor mount and missing bolts and brackets on tranny and also tranny fluid linking due to being overfilled. After 21 days I received my truck back stating it was fixed. Within days of picking it up, I drove to Kansas for a family visit and drove to the airport to go on vacation. When we returned home we noticed tranny fluid leaking heavily onto the ground. This was Sunday Jan. 25, 2026. The next day Monday Jan. 26, 2026 we took it to the local chevy dealership in Kansas to have it inspected before I drove it back to Texas. They reported the truck needs I new tranny and advised not to drive it back to Texas. I had to have family take me back home to Texas and now have the expense of a plane ticket to get back to Kansas to pick up my truck. The truck has been out of services over 9 weeks since purchasing on October 21st. While the extended warranty has covered some repairs, the repeated failures and prolonged downtime so soon after purchases have been extremely disappointing. I was told the vehicle was being sold "as-is" yet the number of mechanical failures discovered shortly after purchased raises concern about pre-sale inspection quality. More
My Infotainment system had quit working properly right before Christmas of 2025. I had Google possible causes and solutions with results of fuses and the HMI module. When I took my vehicle, on 1/10/26, to Covert Chevy of Hutto, the technician claimed the radio control assembly needed to be replaced and I was charged the diagnostic fee and $599.98 for the part. I was told it would be about a week before the part would arrive. So, I waited that week and into the 2nd week I call the parts/service department and was told the part had come in but was initially misplaces. I made arrangements to have the radio control assembly installed on 1/28/26. I arrived on that day, and my vehicle was taken to install the radio control assembly. After waiting, the service advisor approached me and told me that the radio control assembly didn't solve the issue and now the technician stated that the HMI module needed to be replaced which would cost me an additional $1670.28. I asked if I could get a refund for the initial part I paid for and was told no because the part had been installed and couldn't be returned according to the service manager Pedro Juarez-Macias. So, I paid the $1670.28 for the HMI module. Again, I had to wait a week for the HMI module to arrive, but I made arrangements to have it installed on 2/7/26. After the install everything worked correctly, but what was interesting was all my saved radio presets were there. I had Googled if the radio assembly or HMI were changed would I have to reprogram those save channels and Google said yes. So, it makes me wonder did they reinstall the original radio control assembly? Anyways I was still overcharged $599.98 for the radio control assembly that was not the issue. Since there is not currently a department head over Parts and Service, I tried to email the General Manager, but I received no response to try and resolve my issue. EDIT I know they want better than 1-star reviews, but I stand with what I initially posted. I got ripped off by the service center for almost $600. More

I also am the kind of customer who takes great care of his vehicle, so the service relationship is extremely valuable to me. Let it be known that this survey response is exclusive to Ryan Gill and the dealership as I have not yet had an interaction with the Service Department. My hope is they too are on their game and are experts who can deliver. More

Even after the sale when it was time for oil change and maintenance - He helped me get my car to and from dealership seamlessly for quick service. I just want to tell you about the great experience we had at Covert Hutto. Jonathon Alcala gave us the perfect amount of action, answers and attention. We give him an AAA+! I bought a Ford thru the Chevy salesman. My daughter and son both were buying a vehicle thru them. By the time my kids signed their paperwork they were about to close and it was dark outside. The salesman told me he had one the color I wanted and he would go get it. Since I live over an hour and half away I told him I wanted to deal with one of my local dealerships. Salesman was persistent and gave me pretty much what I was asking for, so I bought it. I get in the car to leave and realize there is almost 5K miles on this new car I just signed for. I went right back in and questioned it. I was told a salesman had driven it. He also told me that someone had stolen the back windshield wiper holder (it was snapped right off) and if I came back the next day they would replace. Why didnt he say that when he was talking me into buying it?? I drove over an hour and half back there the following day and the salesman looked at me like I was crazy. He forgot that he told me to come back! I also noticed a chip in the windshield. He said he would call when the part came in and they would fix both issues. While I was in their parking lot charging my car a Ford salesman stopped and told me to make sure I got my at home power source, that it was free and the installation was nearly free. I called NUMEROUS times (so many times the receptionist recognized my voice and would apologize) with no call back for the issues. He did, however call me to ask if I would give him a good review on FB. I of course brought up my issues and inquired about my free power package. He said I was not eligible. Not sure why they are advertising it if you cannot get it. I ended up calling the Ford sales manager and he got my car in to get a new windshield wiper kit and to seal the chip in my windshield. Unfortunately you can still see the chip. One month later my wiper came off. I went to the automotive store to get a new one. They ordered one for my make and model. It did not fit. He said the wiper kit the dealership put on it was not even for my car and that is why it fell off. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. If I had bought from the dealership I wanted, I would have a car with less miles, no chip, the correct wiper kit, and most importantly my home power package. Just the equipment is over $500 and that does not include the money towards the installation I was eligible for. I also would not have had to drive over an hour and half ONE way just to get the crappy service job I received. I was also told my added warranty covered chips in windshield and in paint. I was not given paperwork on that, but when I went to the website and provided all my info the company I have the warranty thru sent me all the details. I do not have coverage for chips and door dings like I was told. Love my car, but HATED the experience. I will stick to my local dealerships. I did notice the standard replies to these reviews. I had to laugh when they said to contact them to get it corrected. Good luck getting ANYONE to call you back!! More
