Generally, service communication is excellent (adviser-dependent, most are very good). The battery failed under warranty and they were able to replace it within a couple of days. My last encounter with Kia service department was the best. They had my car for over a month, but gave me a new Kia Sportage to drive during that time. Dealer gave incorrect information on a cooling fan killing the battery. Service group allowed battery to die and have to be jumped while in service. I tried to purchase part to repair from parts group killing the battery. Service group allowed battery to die and have to be jumped while in service. I tried to purchase part to repair from parts group at dealership, and they initially argued it didn't exist. I was forced to look up and send photos of their own user manual to attempt to fix. Just general widespread incompetence. I honestly would never trust anyone in this organization to fix anything, and I likely won't even trust them with a, simple oil change again. More
