I found the truck I believed i wanted online, so I called Cronin Ford and inquired about it. I explained to the salesman that I would be driving 200 mi. one way to buy this vehicle and that i wanted no surpr Cronin Ford and inquired about it. I explained to the salesman that I would be driving 200 mi. one way to buy this vehicle and that i wanted no surprises when I got there. He assured me that there would be none. So when I showed up with a check in my hand ready to buy a 2010 lariat I thought nothing but the best. Then I test drove the truck. As soon as i stepped on the gas I heard a loud CLUNK, and every time I started from a dead stop I heard it again. When I returned from my test drive the salesman assured me that it was the normal sound of a ford powertrain! So I asked to drive another similar truck. Guess what, it didn't CLUNK! The salesman then took me to the service department and had a mechanic drive the truck, and after two starts and stops he informed me that there was something definitely wrong with the vehicle. Thats when the salesman said sorry and went on his way! After a lengthy conversation with the manager we found there wasn't really an agreement to be had, with no similar truck on the lot that they could offer me for the same price. The only positive thing I can say about this dealer is that at least they filled my gas tank before leaving, paid for 70$ of the 140$ it cost me to drive there for nothing! Will absolutely never buy a vehicle from Cronin Ford, be honest with people! Don't assume they won't notice something when they get there! More

They made the buying experience fun and educational without all the unnecessary high pressure tactics that some dealers still use. I was provided with a carfax, test drive, a complete explanation of all the options on the vehicle, and the sale was completed in a complete and timely manor.
