After deciding on a car (which was a great deal for the price) he explained to me in detail everything about the car; specs, features, the Carfax report, how car buying process works, ect. Even when I purchased and picked up my car, he came out and showed me how to program certain settings. His dedication to the sale did not go unnoticed as well as his patience. The finance manager, Gary, worked with my financing needs, giving me the best rates possible. He also explained to me in great detail of how the financing process works and was incredibly patient (even when I called back to ask about the details extended warranty that I forgot we had talked about previously). I would definitely recommend Crown Honda and Enver to anyone who wants a great car buying experience! You will not be disappointed. :) More

I am writing today to say that their service department has changed my mind about bringing my car to the dealers for service. I was very pleased with G in the service department. The entire experience was very professional and they kept me informed about everything throughout the process, from initial diagnosis to making repairs to calling me once repairs were complete. Be careful with the accessory packages I want to share my recent car purchase experience in order to help others avoiding the same trap. This summer I decided to replace my 5 years old CR- I want to share my recent car purchase experience in order to help others avoiding the same trap. This summer I decided to replace my 5 years old CR-V with a new one. I’ve already heard that some dealers are adding unwanted accessory packages to the car, so when I requested a quote from one of the dealers in my area I also asked about that is there any hidden fee or additional package I should expect. The answer was pretty clear saying there is only the usual tax, tag, registration, and dealer fee, and there is no extra package installed on the car. (I still have these emails in my inbox.) The quote and the above answer was enough to bring me into the dealership. The negotiation went fine until they mentioned that there is a protection package already installed on the car. I asked them to remove, since I’m satisfied with the standard equipment. They were very stiff about that they received the car from the factory as is and they cannot remove the extra accessories. They also assured me of that these accessories are useful and reasonable. Since the accessory package was always mentioned outside of the scope of the negotiation, and I trusted in the Honda name, finally I accepted the offer and drove the new car home. Even though I was happy about the car, the protection package was still bugging my mind. Few hours later I made a list of the extra accessories and I checked the price on the dealer’s web site. I even added the ridiculous labor ($30 for dropping the floor mats and cargo tray in the car?) to the total price. It turned out it would cost $700 if I added these accessories to a plain model instead of the $1799 they’ve charged me. It’s $1100 difference I couldn’t associate with any value. And I just ignored the fact that some of the accessories I wouldn’t install myself because they are useless. Anyway. I signed the contract, drove the car home. It is like realizing I made a mistake after I paid and left the cashier, right? Not exactly. In the case of other merchants there is an option to return the product. Even the infamous airlines give 24-hour cancellation for their non-refundable tickets. But the car dealers’ contract makes the cancellation impossible. They know how to manipulate the customers and how to hide the facts that could help customers making deliberate decisions. They also make sure the customer won’t be able to return the car after waking up from the hypnosis. Let me summarize what happened. The email offer promised there will be no additional cost. The extra package was mandatory and introduced as reasonable add-on from the manufacturer. When I realized that I was misled it was too late, the contract doesn’t respect the buyer’s dissatisfaction at all. It looks like a “bait and switch” for me. Do yourself a favor, and check the accessory prices before you head to the dealer, and don’t forget to ask a detailed list of extra accessories if they come up with the what-ever-named mandatory package. Be also ready for negotiating the price or the removal of the package. Keep in mind, the extra fee can make a real difference when you compare Honda to other models. I hope you will learn from my mistake and won’t let them steal your money! More
