At every phase of our exploration, Roger was totally responsive to our needs, wants, and concerns. He was patient in answering our questions and in giving us the time to think about the choices. When we were uncertain, he did not push. When we were ready to make a decision, he worked with us to make it work. Both before and after the purchase, he was very helpful in teaching us about the operations and technologies. We are very appreciative of Roger's care and attention. Derrick Smith and Bill Gunnett were very supportive throughout the process and very efficient in finalizing the paperwork. On this particular occasion, routine maintenance was performed with minimal wait time. Brian was right there on my arrival and always took time to keep me informed on the status. After leaving the dealership, I notice the message on the car screen to schedule an appointment had not reset. Call Brian and he advised me he would stop by my house to reset it since he lived in my local area. Saved me a second trip to the dealership and I commend Brian for going above and beyond to resolve this problem. Again, this is typical of the service I have come to experience at the Clearwater dealership and one of the primary reason I went back to Volvo. More
Sales Staff is lovely, Business/Finance Staff caused anxiety Sales representatives Josh and Mary were absolutely lovely and a pleasure to interact with over the course of two days it took me to test drive, consi Sales representatives Josh and Mary were absolutely lovely and a pleasure to interact with over the course of two days it took me to test drive, consider, and purchase the vehicle. I test drove two vehicles approximately an hour prior to closing time. Josh was professional, patient and answered my questions and concerns. The next day, my husband and I arrived early in the morning. Since we arrived much earlier than I had anticipated (husband's doing, not mine) sales representative Mary assisted. She was delightful. After much contemplation, I decided on which vehicle to purchase. Both Mary and Josh were professional sales representatives who made me feel like a VIP. However, when it came time to sit with Bill, the gentleman in business/finance, to write the check, this entailed another 45 minutes of uncertainty and anxiety. Yes, I understand the role of the business/finance person is to handle payment, suggest additional services/protections to the customer, as well as increase revenue for the dealership. I get it. However, the manner in which extra services/protections were offered, suddenly the fun car-buying experienced turned into a nerve-wracking event. Tone of voice was somewhat condescending and made me feel as if not purchasing the additional services and protections was foolish. Considering I was paying cash (by writing a check) and did not need to finance the vehicle, I felt unappreciated. In all due respect, I completely understand these are valuable services and protections and yes, they may in fact be necessary. However, telling the customer (me) in a "Ben Stein voice" as they're thinking of whether or not to purchase the additional protections, "Hurry up it's time for lunch" whilst looking and tapping his watch and twitching in his office chair because he's annoyed with me, is not acceptable. I apologize for these words, but that's what I experienced. Albeit I found Bill to be a bit abrupt, on a positive note, he (business/finance person) is knowledgeable and clearly knows his job and is doing what's in the best interest for Crown Motor Cars. He is an asset to the company because surely he's able to increase revenue for the business. As a business owner, I'd hire him (minus his condescending tone). Yet, from a customer-experience standpoint, I felt as if I was between a rock and a hard place and felt belittled. Not everyone takes so well to a harsh tone of voice, "hurry up" comments, and non-verbal behavior indicating impatience/being irritated because customer isn't buying additional services. I feel bad writing this, but I am being honest. To Bill's credit, he was doing his job and perhaps I am just a bit too sensitive. More

For me, the experience of visiting Crown Volvo , has I have owned 4 Volvo's since 2002, from this dealership under different management companies. For me, the experience of visiting Crown Volvo , has been one of not only having my wonderful car maintained, but also the building of a relationship with the Service Dept personnel which borders on "family." My calls, taken by Brian, who is my contact guy, are always taken with his tone being one of friendship and readiness to meet my needs. He is prompt in providing an estimate of the cost of the service needs of my car as well as the timeline in which they should be met. One of the most reassuring parts of my relationship with Brian, is when I call "out of the blue" with an unexpected question about something that I don't understand. Brian is quick to explain what might be happening and to put my concerns to rest. I honestly cannot imaging driving other than a Volvo and having my car receive the tender loving care from Brian and his colleagues. They are indeed like a part of my family. Luckily, I found a CPO Volvo C70 on their lot and traded in my car quick and easy. Previous interactions with car dealerships for me have been PAINFUL! Not here, James followed up on each detail immediately, Derrick (sp?) was zen and fair on my trade, Ken, the GM introduced himself and offered his services if I needed anything ( and it was sincere!). Bill Gunnett, in Finance, was patient and explained each finance option and found a great one for me, so so credit. In addition, each pkg add on available quickly recommending what I did need and deleting what I did not need so I didn't waste $. I did my research before and after, on the car and the financing end. I found they gave the best deal in comparison to 3 other places. I have recommended that my parents purchase their next car here even though it's a hike because I trust them. Previously Bert Smith customer and a bad 4 year experience, especially service. I have not had an issue yet, only 3 weeks with car, but everything promised was delivered and more! I will definitely purchase from this dealership again and follow Bill Gunnett to the ends of the finance earth for making car buying a pleasant and happy experience, which in the past for me has always been an AWFUL and YUCKY experience. I have lived all over the country since 1990 but as soon as I returned to Tampa Bay this dealership was my source of service and replacement cars. Two staff stand out in my experience: Deborah, service manager. My service experience was simply remarkable. Deborah and her staff bent over backwards to help me every time i visited the dealership for service. She even helped me when i purchased the latest XC60. Thank you Deborah. Hume Spear helped me with the latest car and assisted with a really good deal. He calls on birthdays and keeps in touch. I currently live in Jacksonville and am contemplating upgrading to the XC90 and Hume is the first person I will call for a quote. The entire staff at this dealership and all the past ownerships and configurations are, in my view, one of the best in the nation, and I have experienced many over the past almost 40 years. Thank you guys and continue not just selling and servicing cars but actually helping people, one at a time. Cheers!!! More

He made sure I was satisfied with my deal and didn't try to pressure me into anything which I personally have NEVER experienced at a dealership. The manager greeting us and thank us for doing business with them as I left with my new keys in hand. Oh yeah, I came from Daytona Beach to get the car because their deal and reviews were outstanding! Recommend them to everyone! They know how to treat their customers. More
